What Happened in Demon Slayer Season 3: Swordsmith Village Arc?

The swordsmiths of the Swordsmith Village welcomed Tanjiro and Nezuko to their hidden location, where visitors can only arrive thanks to the combined efforts of the Kakushi and Kasugai Crows.

Two months have passed since Tanjiro’s deadly fight against the upper moon six, Daki and Gyutarou.

While Uzui left with his wives and Zenitsu went on another job assignment, Inosuke woke up seven days prior to Tanjiro getting out of his comatose state.

After Tanjiro recuperated, he found out that Haganezuka never sent him a replacement sword.

Tanjiro anticipated Haganezuka sending him another blade because he chipped his sword in the Red Light District.

Because of this, Tanjiro went to the Swordsmith Village and persuaded Haganezuka to make him another sword.

Going to the Swordsmith Village was not easy, but luckily, Goto was there to carry Tanjiro blindfolded, ears and nose both plugged, while being followed by Kasugai Crows.

Tanjiro arrived in the Swordsmith Village and he met the Village Chief, Tecchikawahara Tecchin. The chief informed Tanjiro that Haganezuka was missing after throwing a massive tantrum.

Aside from the village head, Tanjiro met two Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito, the Love Hashira and the Mist Hashira, respectively.

In addition, he encountered the Wind Pillar's brother, Genya Shinazugawa.

What began as a casual excursion to the Swordsmith Village turned fatal when the upper demon moons four and five arrived to wreak havoc.

But in the end, Tanjiro, along with Nezuko and Genya, as well as Tokito and Kanroji, defeated the upper demons.

They were able to protect the Swordsmith Village and its citizens.

Most notably, Nezuko conquered the sun, but Muzan knew about it in a heartbeat!

It is now Muzan's goal to devour Nezuko in order to walk under the sun and reign supreme!
