In Yukaku-hen Episode 9, Inosuke managed to behead Daki with the help of Tanjiro and Zenitsu Agatsuma. As he ran off to keep it separated from the demon's body, Tanjiro searched for Tengen who had pulled Gyutaro away to continue their fight. Amazingly, Gyutaro catches up with Inosuke and impales him with a blood sickle to recover his sister's head. This is when Tanjiro realizes that Tengen has fallen unconscious and that one of his hands has been severed.

However, it is still unclear if Tanjiro will manage to do it alone or if his companions will manage to help him out.
