After four years, avid fans are finally getting their favorite anthology series back. Netflix surprised fans by releasing the first trailer of Black Mirror Season 6 just a few hours ago.
The trailer comes as a complete surprise to followers since there was no prior indication about the show's release. It was even reported that Black Mirror skipped getting released in 2020 due to the depressing global health crisis.
Now that the trailer for Black Mirror Season 6 has been released, we get a glimpse of the upcoming episodes. And as always, fans are eager to know what these episodes will be about and who will star in them.
Black Mirror Season 6: Who Are The Stars Of New Season?
As always, the cast of previous Black Mirror episodes aren't big stars. To date, there have only been a handful of Hollywood A-listers who have joined previous episodes.

When Is Black Mirror Season 6 Coming Out?
Shortly after Black Mirror Season 5 came out in June 2019, Netflix announced that the show had been renewed for a sixth season. But when the pandemic happened, one of the show's creators, Charlie Brooker, decided to take a break from writing the material.
At that time, Brooker said creating a sixth season would be "too depressing" for audiences. Thankfully, the show was greenlit in May 2022.
After that, production started right away. And now, we finally have something to look forward to from Brooker and Annabel Jones.
The trailer reveals that Black Mirror Season 6 will be coming out in June 2023. A specific date, however, has not been announced.
What Is Black Mirror Season 6 Story About?
Ever since the first season, Black Mirror has remained consistent as an anthology series. And because of this, it's difficult to give a plot synopsis of the show as a whole.
Each episode throughout the season has a unique storyline and theme to it. But the only thing that ties these episodes together is how technology is used in our day-to-day lives.
Not to mention, the show's creators have always been secretive about the storyline. But according to Brooker, Black Mirror Season 6 changes things up.
The showrunner told Tudum:
“Partly as a challenge, and partly to keep things fresh for both me and the viewer, I began this season by deliberately upending some of my own core assumptions about what to expect. Consequently, this time, alongside some of the more familiar Black Mirror tropes we’ve also got a few new elements, including some I’ve previously sworn blind the show would never do, to stretch the parameters of what ‘a Black Mirror episode’ even is. The stories are all still tonally Black Mirror through-and-through — but with some crazy swings and more variety than ever before.”
Whatever it is that he's got lined up we're pretty sure that avid fans will go crazy over the show when it comes out.

The official teaser of Black Mirror Season 6 got released on April 26, 2023.
It doesn't give too much detail about the plot or how many episodes there will be. But you can get an idea of who stars in each of these episodes.
