If Game of Thrones has introduced viewers to only three dragons, Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viscerion, its prequel, House of the Dragon, has featured over a dozen. The show can't be called House of the Dragon if it didn’t feature these majestic scaled creatures.

Two seasons in, and several dragons have already popped up on the small screen, from Arrax, Balerion, Vhagar, and more.

These fire-breathing beasts play major roles in the show's personal and political machinations. By the time the show has wrapped up, 17 dangerous flying pets are expected to make House Targaryen more powerful.

So, to keep track of the dragons in Westeros, here’s a guide to the majestic beasts in House of the Dragon.

Arrax was one of the smallest dragons in House of the Dragon. This loyal dragon’s rider was Prince Lucerys Velaryon, the son of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Unfortunately, he and his dragon rider, Luke, died in an exchange with Vhagar and her rider, Aemond Targaryen, high above Storm’s End in the first season finale.

Vhagar bit Arrax in half, killing him and Luke in the process.
