Ryan Reynolds Reportedly Pushing Channing Tatum For Deadpool 3

Channing Tatum’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe may have been cancelled back in 2016, but with Ryan Reynolds reportedly pushing for Tatum to appear in Deadpool 3 might just turn things around for his fate with Gambit.

According to a reputable scooper DanielRPK, Ryan Reynolds is in talks with Channing Tatum about being in Deadpool 3 in a mystery role, ‘even if not as Gambit.’ Check out the tweet below:

Completely attached to his Gambit role, Tatum swore he would never watch another Marvel movie again when plans for X-Men’s Gambit were scrapped. The actor admitted feeling disappointed on not getting to touch on his role, “I was so traumatized, I shut off my Marvel machine. I haven’t been able to see any of the movies. I loved that character. It was just too sad. It was like losing a friend because I was so ready to play him.”

While plot details are still being kept under wraps, there is a huge possibility that Channing Tatum will most likely be one of the mutants, even if not as Gambit, his old supposed role. With Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine, Reynolds discussed his excitement, celebrating how it feels like to work with his closest friends on a Marvel project.

Other than Tatum’s rumored appearance and involvement in Deadpool 3, there is also Loki’s Mobius (played by Owen Wilson) who we may get to see reprising his role as Time Variance Authority Agent Mobius.

Deadpool 3 may be one of the most ambitious Marvel movies we will be seeing soon, especially considering the big cast and the many possibilities these characters will do once they’re together on screen. One of those possibilities is Deadpool gaining access to the multiverse, perhaps being involved in a different timeline.

Deadpool 3 premieres on November 8, 2024.
