A lot of MCU fans felt glorious when it was announced at the end of the first season finale of Loki that they will be returning for the second season, paving the way for yet again another bonkers adventure with the titular God of mischief. While the exact plot details for the next installment are still under wraps, we do know that they are going to start filming this year. Now, another supporting cast member from the series has confirmed their return in the next season.

During Wired's "Autocomplete Interview" video, Owen Wilson confirmed that he will be returning on the second season of Loki reprising the role of Mobius M. Mobius. He also teased that they are going to start production for the next installment soon. He said, "Is Owen Wilson coming back to Loki? Um...yes. He is coming back to Loki, and I think we’re going to begin filming that pretty soon. I had a great time working on Loki. I really enjoyed Tom Hiddleston and all the people on that."

While it was expected that Wilson will be returning in the second season since his character survived, it is great to hear a confirmation from the actor himself that we will get to see him in the next season and continue playing Mobius, who became a fan-favorite character in the series.

It's hard to tell right now what direction will Wilson's character have in the next season since the first season ended with a cliffhanger in which Mobius and Hunter B-15 no longer recognizes Loki and the statues of the Time-Keepers has been replaced by the variants of He Who Remains (aka Kang the Conqueror).

It is exciting to hear that Wilson is going to return on the next season and see what they have in-store for Morbius. Who knows, he might finally get to ride a jet ski which the character has been longing for throughout the first season. There have also been rumors that he will be showing up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness although it is unknown yet if it's true. Either way, we can't wait to see Wilson come back to the MCU.
