It has been a Marvel signature to have a post-credits scene either squeezed or put at the very end of the roll. From its movies to even its series, it has been a classic touch to have one. The previous one, Episode 4 of Loki, had an intriguing short peak of what happens next in the canon series. But, is there a post-credits scene in Episode 5?

Surprisingly, there is none, which is odd, right? Episode 4, The Nexus Event, had a post-credits scene that explained what happened to Loki after he got pruned by the Time Variance Authority and he finally got the chance to encounter other versions of him who were treated as variants, and being Loki, they have survived and surpassed the challenges in the place where pruned things go to – The Void.

As for Episode 5, Journey Into Mystery, it surprisingly didn't have any post-credits scene at all. Such an absence is odd considering that the previous series of WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier had consecutive episodes with a post-credits scene by the latter half of the series or at least the last few episodes.

In Loki, what has been expected is that there would be one to tease the finale episode, may it be Loki and Sylvie have a peek at what awaits or something to happen in the TVA or maybe even where did Mobius go and opened a portal to, even a short snippet of anything will do, but interestingly enough, there isn't. It was as if they have given us a candy bar only to find that there is some empty space in the middle of it.

Still, with what happened in the episode, it is safe to say that such is enough to encourage everyone to watch the finale and find out what lies ahead especially with Loki and Sylvie enchanting Alioth and opening some sort of portal or for to what seems to be a lair, and hopefully, whoever is hiding behind the gargantuan creature could shed light as to who is really behind the TVA.

Loki Episode 5 is currently streaming on Disney+.
