There is a perfect reason why the finale of Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 1 is an hour and a half long: it is so packed that it left everyone at awe with what is to come next in the narrative. It dealt with all the characters in the show, from different parts of the world, and each of them were with a cliffhanger.

First there’s Will, Jonathan, Mike, and Argyle who traveled across the United States for Suzie to help them decode where Project Nina is and see where Eleven was taken. They were able to prove that Suzie is a genius and she managed to pin on the map where the top secret lab is, where Eleven is, and it is hanging whether they would be able to get to her in time before Eleven leaves for Hawkins.

Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 1 also showed Hopper, Joyce, Murray, and Enzo who were in Russia. Hopper and Enzo were among the prisoners who would be used to feed a demogorgon. With Joyce and Murray’s help as they arrived at the prison, they were able to save Hoppen and Enzo from the demogorgon and finally, Hopper reunites with Joyce. However, it is unknown how they will return to Hawkins.

The biggest reveal is Eleven and One. One turns out to be the person helping Eleven at the facility. Eleven took out the device that subdued One, the Soteria, and he revealed himself to her and how they were alike. One used to be a myth among the patients at the facility but he was just there all along.

When he got his powers back, he slaughtered the whole facility, an event which Eleven despised so much because she thought she killed them all. It was revealed that it was One all along and she almost lost to him, only to have her hold on to her memories, and she turned the tables against One who got pinned to the wall.

Much to the anger of Eleven, she tried to incarcerate One, but instead, she created a rift between the worlds and opened a gate between Hawkins and the Upside Down. As per One, it was revealed that he survived. He flew through the Upside Down where he was struck by lightning and there, he became Vecna.
