Is Red Officially Back In The Blacklist Season 9?

In The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 1, Cooper informed Red about what Dembe’s mission was and the accident he was involved in. And Dembe’s gut feel was correct because Red knew who the original Skinner was.

The nickname has been passed down from generation to generation. But even though Red knew all this, he was initially hesitant to tell Cooper everything.

After all, Red had so much fun in Havana, and he didn’t want to lose all the peace he gained throughout the past two years by reuniting with the task force.

Still, Red decided to go to the States to identify The Skinner, but he refused to help the team track the villain down.

In the end, Ressler spoke with Red right before his plane left for Havana. And the former encouraged the latter to focus his attention on the team. This way, Liz wouldn’t have died in vain.

The scene between Ressler and Red spoke volumes because fans of The Blacklist know how much the two characters hated each other.

But for Liz, Ressler, and Red decided to set their differences aside.

After Ressler left the plane, Red stared at the files of the current villain, whose real name is Graham Anderson.

Red has not officially returned to the team, but we predict that he will reunite with Dembe and everyone else in The Blacklist Season 9 Episode 2.

At the end of the day, Red’s love for Liz will prevail, even if it means setting aside the inner peace that he’s been dying to experience for years.

Since Liz was killed off, it will become Red, Ressler, and everyone else’s mission to avenge her demise.
