Song Joong Ki And Bae Suzy Win Big At Seoul International Drama Awards 2021
On October 21, Song Joong Ki and Bae Suzy were named as two of the winners at this year’s Seoul International Drama Awards. The former husband of Song Hye Kyo nabbed the Outstanding Korean Actor award for his impressive performance in Vincenzo while the ex-girlfriend of Lee Min Ho received the Outstanding Korean Actress award for showing off her outstanding acting skills in Start Up.
Aside from Song Joong Ki and Bae Suzy, other winners include Vincenzo, which was named Excellent Korean Drama. The Missing Child series got this year’s Grand Prize while director Jo Yong Won and lead star Park Hyuk Kwon won the Best Director and Best Actor awards, respectively.

Kairos and Taxi Driver were named Outstanding Korea Drama while The Penthouse garnered the Serial Drama Golden Bird Prize. Young Tak’s “Okay” from the Revolutionary Sisters series was proclaimed the Best OST in Korean Drama.
The Outstanding Korean Actor award during the Seoul International Drama Awards 2021 serves as the third major award that Song Joong Ki received this year. The ex-beau of Song Hye Kyo was also named the Best Film Actor and Actor of the Year during this year’s Brad Customer Loyalty Award and Brand of the Year Awards, respectively.
Bae Suzy, for her part, just got her second major award for this year. The Start Up lead actress has previously conferred the Actress Award during the 2021 Korea First Brand Awards.
Song Joong Ki And Bae Suzy Set To Lead Upcoming K-dramas
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki and Bae Suzy are set to make their much-awaited comeback to the small screens very soon. Though they are not starring in one show, avid followers of the two K-drama superstars would surely love Joong Ki and Suzy’s new characters.
Song Joong Ki would star in a fantasy drama together with Hospital Playlist actress Shin Hyun Been. The South Korean artists would headline JTBC’s imminent K-drama titled Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son, which is based on a web novel with the same name.

The upcoming Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son series would focus on the story of a family secretary who got reincarnated as the clan’s youngest son. Song Joong Ki will portray Yoo Hyun Woo, the secretary who was murdered after being accused of stealing in the company he was working for. The former lover of Song Hye Kyo will then be rebirthed as Jin Do Joon and plot revenge on the family.
Bae Suzy, on the other hand, was confirmed to star in Coupang Play’s upcoming series called Anna. According to reports, the K-drama would center on a lady who lost herself and part of her life because of a lie that started from a feeling of loss.
Aside from Bae Suzy, other personalities confirmed to appear in Anna include Park Ye Young, Kim Jun Han, and Jung Eun Chae. Filming of the said imminent series started on October 15.
