There is no denying that BTS Jungkook is one of the most popular K-pop idols today. Not only does he exude good looks, as he has also proven, time and again, that he is a very talented artist. As a matter of fact, most of his solo songs have been dominating various music charts lately.
However, alongside the popularity he enjoys, BTS Jungkook was also bombarded with numerous issues and malicious rumors, including him allegedly going under the knife to improve his looks. Are these plastic surgery rumors true? Keep on reading to know more details.
Did BTS Jungkook Have Plastic Surgery?
Digital Music News reported that most members of BTS, including Jungkook, have likely had plastic surgery operations. The entertainment news outlet claimed that, while there are some works, it does not necessarily mean that the Bangtan Boys are addicted to plastic surgery.
A surgeon told the publication that BTS Jungkook probably had some adjustments on his nose. However, the expert did not dismiss the fact that growth, weight gain, and even makeup can create some variation in the face.
If some works were done on BTS Jungkook’s face, the surgeon said it is not major cosmetic surgery. He said:
“Maybe some adjustments on his nose, though it’s hard to say for sure. One thing that creates variation is weight gain and maybe just growth changing his face naturally here. Also the angle of the nose [in the photos], it’s too difficult for me to say. Well, all I can definitely say is that this is not major cosmetic surgery if there’s anything.”
Avid followers of BTS Jungkook believe that the K-pop idol did not have a nose job. Lexi Julienne shared on Quora that the “Permission to Dance” singer’s face varies at times.
The fan claimed she analyzed and observed BTS Jungkook’s face during his performances and interviews. Lexi Julienne said the nose of Jin, J-Hope, V, Jimin, RM, and Suga’s co-member looks too big sometimes. She stated:
“At first, I thought JK did the nose job, judging from the different nose bridge in 2013 and 2015. Then I analyzed him through his logs and interviews from 2013 to 2015, and I saw that his nose was like always different. Sometimes it looked too big, sometimes it didn’t. But one thing for sure, his nose in 2013 was different from his nose at his age of like 2 (judging from his childhood pic while eating in red T-shirt).. While his nose now is definitely similar to his childhood nose.”
The avid supporter of BTS Jungkook also commented on the rumors that he also underwent an eye-widening surgery. Lexi Julienne shared:
“When I watch Bon Voyage/ Run BTS, in which he’s almost bare face all the time, sometimes I can see the big & the roundness of his nose, so clearly then now I believe he didn’t have a nose job. Eye widening surgery? That’s impossible, he already has them big and wide with perfect eyelids since he was a kid. In my conclusion, yes it’s puberty, with a little bit fillers or injection on his nose, perhaps, but not plastic surgery.”
Amid all the speculations and reports about the “Dynamite” singer allegedly having a nose job and eye-widening surgery, BTS Jungkook and HYBE Entertainment have remained tight-lipped about the issue. Also, there are no enough pieces of evidence to prove that the co-member of Jin, J-Hope, V, Jimin, RM, and Suga did something to improve his looks.
So, devoted supporters of BTS Jungkook should take all these plastic surgery rumors with a massive grain of salt until everything is proven true. Regardless, there is nothing wrong with going under the knife to improve one’s look, especially if that would help the patient boost his confidence.
BTS Jungkook Makes Sales History With His Solo Performances
Meanwhile, BTS Jungkook just reached new milestones in his career as a solo performer recently. The South Korean artist made history sales with his tracks titled “My Time” and “Euphoria,” which are his solo performances from the group’s repackaged albums called “Map of the Soul: 7” and “Love Myself: Answer.”
Reports have it that the two songs of BTS Jungkook have stayed on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart for a total of 81 and 85 weeks. The said tracks are also considered the two longest-running songs by a single artist and the longest-running B-side track by a K-pop act on the said tally.
As if that is not enough, BTS Jungkook’s “My Time” and “Euphoria,” which are currently at No. 6 and No. 7, also peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart. These songs are also among the few that have been reappearing on the sales tally for one whole year.
