Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 10 COUNTDOWN
Crunchyroll has announced that Spy x Family episodes will be released at 8:30 AM PT on Saturdays. That's around two-and-a-half hours later than when the episode premieres in Japan.
Here's how that release time translates into other regions:

- UK Time: 4:30 PM
Spy x Family Episode Count & Release Guide

Spy x Family has confirmed that the second season will air for only 12 episodes. While that's disappointing for some fans, it's not entirely unexpected.
The first season of Spy x Family had a total of 25 episodes split over two separate cours last year. However, many major series, such as Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, are released in 12-episode, single-cour runs.
Given that there was no additional cour scheduled for 2024 prior to the premiere, it was always likely this upcoming season would only take place during the Fall season, ending in December in line with the Code White movie's release.
Episodes of Spy x Family Season 2 are expected to air every week. With that in mind, here's the series' episode list, which will be updated as new information is announced weekly:
Episode Number | Episode Name | Release Date |
---|---|---|
Episode 1 | Follow Papa and Mama | October 7 |
Episode 2 | Bond's Strategy to Stay Alive / Damian's Field Research Trip | October 14 |

Episode 4 | The Pastry of Knowledge / The Informant's Great Romance Plan II | October 28 |
Episode 5 | Plan to Cross the Border | November 4 |
Episode 6 | The Fearsome Luxury Cruise Ship | November 11 |

Episode 8 | The Symphony Upon the Ship / Sis' Herbal Tea | November 25 |
Episode 9 | The Hand That Connects to the Future | December 2 |
Episode 10 | Resort to the Fullest / Bragging About Vacation | December 9 |
Episode 11 | TBC | December 16 |
Episode 12 | TBC | December 23 |
Spy x Family Season 2 Release Date: When Did the First Episode Premiere?

Spy x Family Season 2 premiered on Saturday, October 7th, 2023.
In early 2023, animators for Wit Studio unofficially revealed that Spy x Family's second season and movie were both expected to be released in Fall 2023.
That Fall release window was confirmed at Anime Japan 2023 in March, alongside reveals for the Spy x Family original movie.
Given that the first season aired during the same season last year and that Season 2 will air on the same broadcasting networks, we estimated that Spy x Family Season 2 would likely premiere on Saturday, October 7th, 2023.
The release was confirmed on September 14th when the official visual (above) was released.

What Does Spy x Family Season 2 Cover?

Spy x Family takes place against the backdrop of a potential war between Westalis and Ostania.
Twilight is a Westalian spy tasked with creating a fake family to monitor the leader of an Ostanian political party through his child’s school, Eden Academy.
Now going under the fake name Loid Forger, he adopts Anya and enters a fake marriage with Yor. Little does he know that he now lives with a telepath and a masterful assassin!
The headline in Spy x Family Season 2 is the Great Cruise Adventure arc, where Yor is completing a mission as the Thorn Princess on a cruise ship when Anya and Loid suddenly turn up!
Instead of focusing on Loid, now, it's Yor who must delicately balance her work and personal life.
Where to Watch Spy x Family Season 2

Spy x Family Season 2 is available in the same places as Season 1 for most fans. The anime's domestic broadcast is the same as the first season, while most international fans will continue watching it on Crunchyroll.
Crunchyroll confirmed they would be simulcasting the second season of Spy x Family. They are also producing the Spy x Family Season 2 English dub, as well as dubbing in many other languages.
Spy x Family is also on Netflix in certain regions. In Japan, Spy x Family Season 2 is confirmed to air on TV Tokyo and other associated channels, as was the case for Season 1.
What Studio and Staff Are Producing Spy x Family Season 2?

Spy x Family Season 2 will be animated by Wit Studio and CloverWorks, continuing from the first season. The majority of key staff will also be reprising their roles for Season 2.
Spy x Family Season 2 will be directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, who led the first season and, previously, famously directed Hunter x Hunter.
One notable change to Spy x Family's key staff for Season 2 is Ichiro Okouchi – acclaimed anime screenwriter and original creator of Code Geass – who becomes the series compositor.
All the major voice actors for Spy x Family are set to continue from the first season, also.
Loid Forger is voiced by Takuya Eguchi, who notably played Souei in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
Yor is voiced by the famous Saori Hayami, while Anya is played by Atsumi Tanezaki, who also played Tome in Mob Psycho 100.
The opening and ending artists have been changed for Spy x Family Season 2, with big names stepping up once again!
Spy x Family Season 2's opening theme is Kurakura, by Ado, who fans will remember as the singing voice of Uta, star of One Piece Film: Red.
The video for the second season's opening was also shared ahead of the premiere, and it's directed by renowned anime filmmaker Masaaki Yuasa, who is best known for his works such as The Tatami Galaxy and Inu-Oh.
The credits feature Yuasa's unique playful animation style with vibrant colors — perfect for the anime's fun and energetic vibe.
This season's ending theme, meanwhile, is Todome no Ichigeki by Vaundy, featuring American artist and anime debutant Cory Wong.
Fans will likely remember Vaundy as the creator of Chainsaw Man's first ending theme, while they also produced opening-singer Ado's hard-hitting One Piece Red song Backlight!
