Inspired by the French sci-fi novel, Le Transperceneige, Snowpiercer is the TV series adaptation of the film of the same name where an ark train carries what remains of humankind as the world was frozen to its core in a too-perfect-experiment to combat global warming with CW-7, a cooling agent too effective that it sent the whole Earth back to an ice age making it uninhabitable.
Snowpiercer not only faces the threat of extinction, but it also seems that even in the end times, the people will continue being destructive to one another. In the efforts of a visionary in the creation of the ark train that never stops, it was only meant for those who can either afford it or can work for it. In 1,001 train cars, the social divide remains.
The rich people are in the first-class having paid for their survival, the second class are leaders of sectors and contributors in scientific fields such as medicine, or law, third class is for those who serve the train, essential workers such as farmers, janitors, and the likes. The last class, the tailies, are those who forced their way on the train to survive.
After seven long years of social injustice, the tailies had enough. A revolution for democracy and freedom ensues and it forever re-writes the history of what is left for humanity inside the Engine Eternal, the Snowpiercer.
Snowpiercer has 10 episodes for its current second season namely: The Time of Two Engines for Episode 1, Smoulder to Life for Episode 2, A Great Odyssey for Episode 3, A Single Trade for Episode 4, and Keep Hope Alive for Episode 5.
The other episodes are Many Miles from Snowpiercer for Episode 6, Our Answer for Everything for Episode 7, The Eternal Engineer for Episode 8, The Show Must Go On for Episode 9, and Into the White for Episode 10.
The end of the journey is nowhere near despite the season finale approaching as the series has already secured a third season. The Engine Eternal continues running.

What happened in Snowpiercer Season 2 Episode 8?
In Snowpiercer Season 2 Episode 8, The Eternal Engineer, the Snowpiercer team is back but the game has changed as the Snowpiercer train faces an engineering catastrophe and they would need the help of the person Layton trusts the least, Wilford, to patch up the damage on Snowpiercer.
After the death of the breachmen, Boki, lead breachman, had to step-up and help the Snowpiercer with the water breach and take off something that pierced the side of the train. Boki finally sided with Layton as he discovered that the breach was an interntional one.
Even after Boki successfully removed what is causing the breach, their systems still fail which led Layton, Ben, and Javi to decide that only Wilford can help save the train as one of the drives have been fried due to the systems breach, only Wilford has a spare of the drive.
While they exerted all their efforts to keep Wilford away from the eyes of prying Snowpiercer residents, word still got out fast that Wilford is in the train. As the systems fail, the Snowpiercer would need to have a manual restart, something that hadn't been done ever since, and Big Alice would need to push the Engine Eternal.
Wilford still got his way, being an engineer himself, he managed to figure out what to do and at the same time, pull off his publicity stunt being the hero of Snowpiercer and successfully take over the train.
With his takeover comes with the arrest of Layton, a successful take down. Roche and his family, on the other hand, becomes prisoners of Big Alice with their own version of the cryogenetic cells.
The title is fitting, the Eternal Engineer, with Wilford being the original owner of Snowpiercer proving himself to be the engineer that Snowpiercer needs whilst at the same time, the team still has to save the head engineer of the Engine Eternal, Melanie, who went into a month-long, more or less, isolation in the Rocky Mountains to collect data about the possible warming of Earth.
Two engineers, two different stories of saving the last of humankind, one train, 1,034 cars long. Snowpiercer is reaching the end of the second season where there is only one two-part episodes left.
Where to Watch Snowpiercer Season 2 Episode 9 and 10?
Snowpiercer Season 2 stays in the same home, in their official network, TNT, through their cable network as well as their online platforms, TNT app, and TNT website where the episodes are uploaded for online streaming, may it be previous or latest episodes of the TV series.
The first season of Snowpiercer is available as well on TNT's platforms and on HBO Max with the heart-pounding revolution of the tailies trying to take on the train with the vision of breaking the class system and having democracy and fair treatment for all.
When will Snowpiercer Season 2 be on Netflix?
Netflix releases Snowpiercer Season 2 new episodes every week after a day or two following the television release of the episodes on TNT. However, this does not apply to all countries especially in Netflix US as Snowpiercer Season 2 new episodes are only released in select countries.
Still, that doesn't mean that Snowpiercer wouldn't be arriving on Netflix, it will be, actually, soon after the series finale airs on television then all the episodes will be expected to arrive in Netflix in one big drop – all the episodes arriving at the same time. This means that next week, March 22, 2021, there would be no release for Snowpiercer Season 2 as Episode 9 will take place the same time as that of Episode 10.
