The new Gundam anime’s first cour ended last month. Though for those who have yet to see it or are interested in giving it a rewatch, Crunchyroll announced that the Gundam: The Witch from Mercury English dub will be released this weekend.

Along with the anime’s dub release date, the complete English language voice cast was also revealed, including various voice actors who have played a range of popular characters.

The Witch from Mercury is the newest Gundam anime series in several years, and it’s significant for being the first TV anime in the franchise to feature a female protagonist in Suletta Mercury.

It’s also unique for its story as it features slower, slice-of-life elements in the beginning.

Though long-time fans won’t be disappointed as the series does take some serious turns.

The Gundam show’s first cour began on October 2 and ended on January 8, though this isn’t the end for the series as it will return with a second cour in April.

In total, the anime will run for 24 episodes – shorter than most Gundam shows which are typically 50 episodes in length.

Though time will tell if the series will be renewed for a second season.
