Two clips have been released for Eternals, one is the official teaser and the other is the final trailer which perfectly sets the tone of the upcoming film of possibly the oldest band of superheroes living and residing here on Earth. For 7,000 years, they coexisted with people and finally learned to love the various generations that they passed by, but they never interfered.

What if the Plot of Eternals?

Just in time for the release of the final trailer, Eternals released a new plot synopsis which made it more definite what the film would be about. The synopsis is as follows:

Heroes long living in the shadows of Earth, the Eternals date back to thousands of years as a cosmic race of beings finally coming out of hiding as the arrival of a threat forces them to do so. Each of the Eternals almost has the same abilities, with some power unique to them due to the cosmic energy that they have.

Ikaris (Richard Madden) is the Prime Eternal, leader of the team; Thena (Angelina Jolie), squaring off as the other leader of the group; Ajak (Salma Hayek), a Trojan War veteran; Gilgamesh (Don Lee/ Dong-seok Ma), also known as the Forgotten One; Sersi (Gemma Chan), an enchantress and conjurer; Makkari (Lauren Ridloff), the deaf speedster; Sprite (Lia McHugh), an Eternal trapped in the body of an 11-year-old; Kingo Sunen (Kumail Nanjiani), the skilled swordsman; Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry), the blacksmith; and Druig (Barry Keoghan), an ominous Eternal.

Yes, the Eternals were from the amazing mind of Jack Kirby released in July 1976. It also has three collected editions with Jack Kirby's Eternals Omnibus, Neil Gaiman's miniseries Eternals in 2006, and To Slay a God.

It is expected that Kro, the general of the Deviants, would be one of the villains of the film. It is also possible that the Celestials would play a role as the big bad of the movie as they were seen multiple times in the trailers. Other than that, many are speculating that one of the Eternals themselves would turn back and jump on the evil side.

The first Marvel film of the Oscar-award-winning director Chloé Zhao, Eternals is expected for a theatrical release on November 5, 2021, and there seem to be no plans for the movie coming out on Disney Plus.
