Just as the film dropped its final trailer, Marvel's Eternals gets a new plot synopsis which intrigues a lot of people because not many films would have a re-release of such. They lived on Earth for thousands of years and yet they never interfered with any war or destruction against humans following the instructions of the celestials, their creators.

The two synopses of Eternals do not differ that much, except that the new one is much more detailed as compared to the other. The new plot synopsis is below:

"When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again."

For comparison, here is the previous plot synopsis:

"Marvel Studios' Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, the Deviants."

A wide variety of heroes old enough to witness the Earth shape up for centuries will be stepping out of the shadows and into the light as a new apocalyptic event presses them to interfere with the humans as it would now be involving their enemies from thousands of years ago, the Deviants.

The Eternals are a cosmic race of beings that are so god-like: near-immortal and powerful. Throughout hundreds of years, they witnessed various civilizations rise and die. Millenniums have passed and a conflict still underlies with their creators, the Celestials, and the other race, the Deviants. Every Eternal has a unique superpower due to cosmic energy within them.

Eternals banner an amazing ensemble of the cast as Marvel welcomes a new band of heroes with Angelina Jolie as Thena, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Kit Harrington as Dane Whitman, and Barry Keoghan as Druig.

Eternals will be the first Marvel film of the Oscar-award-winning director Chloé Zhao and much has been said about how she will be treating the film with her very own signature style and use of practical locations which left even the highest ranks of Marvel in awe for her plans for the film. It could be seen in the various trailers how amazing her style is for the film.

Marvel's Eternals is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 5, 2021.
