You gotta love the relationship between these two, right? Just as Ryan Reynolds received his 2022 American Cinematheque Award, his Deadpool 3 co-star Hugh Jackman immediately mocks him with a hilarious impersonation video with young actor Benjamin Pajak.
There's no real beef between these two, to clarify, but Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman just love dissing each other as an expression of their friendship. Recently, Ryan Reynolds was awarded the 2022 American Cinematheque Award and to acknowledge this, Hugh Jackman posted a hilarious video.
In the video is young actor Benjamin Pajak, as captioned by Hugh Jackman, and the kid wears a Deadpool mask while doing his best impression of Ryan Reynolds while supposedly giving his award speech and it all of it is just hilarious! Pajak repeats what Jackman says and delivers it so well.
Jackman, as repeated by Pajak, in the video, impersonates Reynolds saying, "I'm the most handsome. My acting is absolutely unmatched – by anyone, ever. I'm the most creative genius of all time. No one deserves this hero award more than me! Now roll the video packaged that Ryan is pretending he didn't create, edit, and approve."
By the end of the video, Pajak lifts his mask and is satisfied with his impersonation saying, "You know, I think I nailed that Hugh Jackman!," and Jackman laughs in his reply, "Yeah, just like Ryan."

Mocking and trash-talking to each other has become the thing between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman and with Deadpool 3 about to happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, their friendship will surely go deeper so expect more of these once they head into production.
In a recent report from Variety, Ryan Reynolds is now calling Deadpool 3 as "the Deadpool/ Wolverine film," and while he keeps the details out of sight, he noted that he is excited to start working on the film.
Deadpool 3 still hasn't started filming yet but to have both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman on board makes it a huge project as they enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They also bring in Shawn Levy who worked with Reynolds in Free Guy and The Adam Project.
All in all, their friendship is unmatched, a force to be reckoned with to be honest. It's definitely nothing like others and something that would surely translate on screen once they get into Deadpool 3.
Deadpool 3 is slated to release in theaters on November 8, 2024.
