They usually form devil contracts with devils in exchange for abilities that will help them hunt other devils. So, who are the strongest devil hunters in Chainsaw Man?
Being a devil hunter is not uncommon in the world of Chainsaw Man. In fact, it has been said that there are more than a thousand devil hunters in Tokyo, including private devil hunters.
Those who work for the government get a regular salary while those in the private sector do not. Other devil hunters also sell devil corpses to earn money.

Power
Power is Denji's friend and one of the most popular characters in the series.
As the Blood Fiend, her main ability is to control her own blood and create weapons that she can use, such as spears and hammers.
She can mix her blood with her enemies' and ruin their blood flow as well as stop their regenerative skills.
The stronger the blood of the devil she acquires, the stronger she becomes.
Her strongest attack is the Thousand Terra Blood Rain which allows her to create a thousand spears and swords to target her enemies.

Angel Devil
Angel is a devil that is considered one of the strongest devil hunters in Chainsaw Man. He has so much potential but is usually limited by his laziness.
His angel wings can deflect gunfire. He can also reduce the lifespan of his enemies by merely having physical contact with them.
Once this happens, he can make lifespan weapons that he uses during battles.
These supernatural weapons have unique effects, giving him an advantage in every fight.

Galgali
Galgali is the Violence Fiend who can shapeshift and dominate his enemies in hand-to-hand combat.
He also possesses immense speed that gives him an advantage during fights. In fact, he is so strong that he is made to wear a poison-dispersing mask in order to control his abilities.
The Violence Fiend is also known to be one of the best fighters in Division 4, rightfully earning his place on this list.
However, we have not seen him much in action to tell what other abilities he has.
Kishibe
One of the most intriguing characters in Chainsaw Man is Kishibe.
He is known as a stoic man who hates devils, except for Power and Denji. He treats them as his disciples and even trained them to improve their skills.
His physical strength is unlike any other. One punch of his can easily break Power's weapons or eliminate any enemy. Not only that but he is also known for his fast reflexes and movements.
Kishibe made contracts with the Needle Devil, the Knife Devil, and the Claw Devil. These contracts allow him to create weapons and improve their damage at will.
Aki
Like Kishibe, Aki had multiple contracts with various devils such as the Future Devil, the Curse Devil, and the Fox Devil. With those contracts alone, Aki is already one of the strongest devil hunters in the series.
He is also a devil hunter who keeps growing and honing his skills, so it is not surprising that his overall skills are superior to other hunters.
His abilities earned him the respect of his colleagues. Through his contract with the Curse Devil, he can inflict damage on his enemy by pointing a nail at their body and saying “fire”.
Meanwhile, h activates his contract with the Fox Devil whenever he says the word “kon”. He uses this to summon the Fox Devil's head to eliminate his target.
Lastly, his contract with the Future Devil gives him the ability to see a couple of seconds into the future.
Reze
Reze is the Bomb Devil hybrid whose goal was to steal Denji’s heart. Her objective was to pretend that she was in love with him but she eventually developed genuine feelings for him too.
Her strength and speed are incomparable to other devil hunters. She can use her body or even parts of her skin to create explosives that can damage huge buildings.
She can create grenades and missiles, or even turn herself into other explosive weapons.
These explosions don’t harm her. Instead, they give her a chance to regenerate quickly.
With her abilities, she is considered a weapon of mass destruction.

Quanxi
Quanxi is renowned as the First Devil Hunter. She is well-known among her peers but she is also feared because of her abilities.
When she wants something, she does everything she can to get it. She will not stop until she achieves her goal.
She is known for her sword-fighting skills and hand-to-hand combat abilities.
Quanxi is strong, cold-blooded, and fast, so she doesn't miss any target.
As a hybrid, she is a fearsome character with numerous superhuman abilities.
Santa Claus
Another intriguing character in Chainsaw Man is Santa Claus. She made a contract with the Doll Devil which provided her with immense power.
She can create minions by simply touching individuals. In turn, these minions can create other minions too by touching other people.
She can then transfer her consciousness to the "dolls" and make them immortal.
The dolls can also change their bodies at will, giving them an upper hand in combat.
However, not much has been explained about her yet, so her full potential is still unknown.
Makima
Makima is the Control Devil which is why she can easily force people to create contracts with her.
She makes her targets surrender to her so she can control them depending on her needs. This is why it appears that everyone is drawn to her, including the Minister of Japan.
This ability also allows her to destroy her targets with a simple point of her finger. She also uses the Force Manipulation Technique to inflict damage just by staring at her enemy.
As if those are not enough, she can also use the abilities of the individuals and devils she controls, making her one of the characters you do not want to mess with at all.

Denji
Of course, the strongest devil hunter in the series is Denji. After Pochita saved him and became his heart, he acquired the powers of the Chainsaw Devil, giving him the ability to turn parts of his body into chainsaws.
He is known for his speed, destructive power, and durability as seen in all of his battles. He can also disconnect his chainsaws and use them to pull his targets toward him.
Like all hybrids, Denji is nearly immortal because of his fast regenerative abilities.
