Patty Jenkins is the bearer of great news in the recently concluded DC FanDome as she confirms Wonder Woman 3 finally happening and the threequel will never be complete without the one donning the suit, Gal Gadot will be back as the Amazonian heroine while being a superhero in real life as a mom of three and an actress with a packed schedule.

During the DC FanDome, Patty Jenkins confirmed that the threequel will be happening and Gadot will be back to don the Wonder Woman suit once more, "We're super excited about Wonder Woman 3. Gal (Gadot), who is so bummed about not being here, who's the busiest person in the world, with now three little kids and shooting."

Earlier this year, Gal Gadot and her husband, Jaron Varsano, welcomed their third child, another daughter to add to the bunch. Still, Gadot remained faithful to working as an actress while being a mom of three, even having an upcoming Netflix film this year with Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Jenkins kept major details about the upcoming project but hyped the fans enough to know that the third Wonder Woman film is still happening with Gadot after rumors spread a few months ago about her being fired from the role.

More than the return of Gal Gadot, what excites many of the fans is that another iconic actress is confirmed to be back for the threequel and she would be none other than the one who donned the same suit and title in the 70s, Lynda Carter, following the cameo that she had in the movie as Asteria in the latest film of the franchise, Wonder Woman 1984.

This portrayal of Lynda Carter was controversial in such a time and still, she made a mark and showed how iconic Wonder Woman is. As for Jenkins, Wonder Woman holds relevance from then ‘til now, "She's the most relevant superhero of our times."

Wonder Woman 3 is still in development and is yet to have a release date confirmed. Gal Gadot will return as Diana Prince along with Lynda Carter as Asteria.
