In the current age of social media, there are a lot of celebrities who you wouldn't imagine succumbing to cancel culture and that includes Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot. To many, she serves as a massive symbol of hope, inspiration, and empowerment which is why it's quite baffling that she was targeted by call-out culture just recently.

In case you didn't know, Gal received a tremendous amount of backlash for voicing her opinion following the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The criticism the actress faced was insane, it left her with no choice but to turn off and disable the replies to her "controversial" tweet. Following the fiasco, Gal has never spoken about the issue again and according to Hollywood tipster Daniel Richtman, the DCEU star is trying to keep a low profile these days.

In a new Patreon scoop, the insider reiterated that Gadot is still trying to lay low from social media, hoping that the controversy surrounding her will finally subside. However, it's worth noting that Gal is still pretty much active on Twitter and Instagram so take his claim with a huge grain of salt, I guess.

Now, I wouldn't consider Gal's constant activity on social media as a sign of her trying to maintain a low profile. But I'm guessing what Richtman meant was Gal is trying her best to be more mindful of the things she says on her platform because let's face it, even if her intentions were pure, cancel culture will always find a way to take it out of context and present it in a negative light.

In other news, Gal Gadot is set to make her DCEU comeback in Wonder Woman 3.
