There's no doubt that nearly every Marvel Cinematic Universe movie (and series) has always included post-credit scenes. So, since the Captain Marvel movie ended with a post-stinger of its own, surely The Marvels would have its own post-credit scenes, too, right?

In post-stingers like this, Marvel Studios never fails to tease the next upcoming phases of the cinematic universe of the franchise. That said, here's what happened in The Marvels' post-credit scene.

There are two post-credit scenes in the Captain Marvel movie, one of which led to Thanos and Loki's Battle of New York, and the other, for the teaser of Avengers: Endgame.

The first one featured Goose the Cat suddenly spitting out the Tesseract right on Nick Fury's desk, which led to the events of The Avengers of Loki attacking New York to hunt down the Space Stone.

As for the teaser of Endgame, it was right after the first post-stinger where we saw Fury contact Captain Marvel before he turned into ashes during The Blip.

And it was when Captain America and Black Widow were trying to figure out who the S.H.I.E.L.D. director contacted on his last move.

Then and there, Captain Marvel returned to Earth and popped the first question in mind, "Where's Fury?" which had MCU diehards losing their wits about the Avengers and Cap Marvel coming together on the big screens.

Now, the 2019 film is getting a sequel this November 2023, and here's what we know about whether or not it has a post-credit scene or not.

Will The Marvels Get Post-Credit Scenes, Too?

The big three come together in theaters this November. With Monica Rambeau's Photon, Carol Danvers' Captain Marvel, and Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel, the three unlikely Marvel superheroes have to work together to defeat a common enemy.

That said, should we be expecting a post-credit scene here?

Initially, according to the prominent insider DanielRPK (via GameRant), The Marvels is set to introduce Dr. Henry 'Hank' McCoy/Beast, aka one of the classic X-Men characters that might be the first X-Men to enter the MCU.

The speculation comes from the rumor that Kelsey Grammer (who initially played the character in the X-Men universe) will be making an appearance in The Marvels, which would likely bring the X-Men into the MCU franchise.

The Marvels Post-Stinger Explained: The X-Men are Now Canon in the Franchise

After Monica Rambeau 'fixed' the space hole Dar-Benn created at the end of The Marvels, she woke up in a hospital with her mother, Maria Rambeau, surprisingly alive by her side.

Overjoyed to see her, Monica had forgotten she entered a different reality in space, which she only figured out once Maria and (drum roll, please), Dr. Beast confirmed that Monica came from a parallel universe.

Maria is, in fact, not her mother in this space reality, and the X-Men will soon be joining the MCU, even before Deadpool 3 will reach its theatrical release on the big screens.

This means mutants are canon in the franchise and that we'll get to see more alternate realities in future Marvel movies and series. Stay tuned.
