Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey last year rocked the palace because of their shocking revelations. And even though over 12 months have already passed, the tell-all is still making headlines today. In fact, there are rumors that there could be a part two. Oprah Winfrey Reminded Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Of The Importance Of Moving On
In her column for the New Zealand Herald, royal commentator Daniela Esler shared the advice that Winfrey gave to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle before their interview. The talk show host told the couple that they are responsible for their own lives and that life is really about moving on.
However, it seems that moving on is something that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not been able to do. After quitting The Firm, the couple continued to expose the dirt on the royal family but refused to name names.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Haven’t Moved On From Their Issues With The Royal Family
The royal commentator also said that Prince Harry and Markle have not been able to move on from what happened to them when they were still senior working royals.
“For all that Harry and Meghan are forging a new life in California, he still seems unable to let go of the hurts and trials of the past. Despite having two adorable kidlets, hundreds of millions of dollars set to come in, according to the deals the Sussexes’ inked in 2020, a whopping mansion (the first property he has ever independently owned) and all the bike-riding spare time a man could want, he still seems intent on litigating (literally and figuratively) the slings and arrows of his former life. Choose happiness. Choose joy. Choose to look forward and not eternally back,” she wrote (via Cheat Sheet).
However, Prince Harry previously explained his decision to speak up. He said that he wanted to speak his truth in the hopes that it would open doors for reconciliation and healing.
“The interview was about being real, being authentic, and hopefully sharing an experience that we know is incredibly relatable around the world, despite our unique privileged position,” he said.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Relationship With The Royal Family Right Now
Unfortunately, this isn’t what happened. After Prince Harry and Markle’s interview aired, their relationship with the royal family became even more distant.
In their statement, the royal family said that they were saddened by the allegations made by Prince Harry and Markle in their tell-all. The royal family also said that the allegations of racism are concerning and are being taken seriously.
Prince William also responded to the claims by saying that they are not a racist family. However, other members of the British clan stayed mum on the issue and refused to respond to Prince Harry and Markle directly.
After a year, royal experts revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship had somehow improved. In fact, they were invited to attend the queen’s Platinum Jubilee last month. However, the same cannot be said about Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship.
A source told Us Weekly last month that Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship hit rock bottom after the Winfrey tell-all. Since then, no real strides have been made between the brothers.
It has also reached a point where the Duke of Cambridge no longer knows Prince Harry.
“They’ll never recover from the damage that has been done,” the source said.
