When is the Premiere Date of Marvel's What If..? – August 11, 2021

Following the schedule that Loki has established, Marvel's What If..? will be premiering on a Wednesday, on August 11, 2021, at 3 AM EST exclusively on Disney+, since another show is still on the Friday schedule, Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

What is the plot of Marvel's What If..?

Marvel's What If..? will be a whole new perspective of all the things we already saw in the MCU. It will be exploring various alternate realities and stories where characters swap places, foes become friends, and scenarios that could have happened if it did not go through as planned.

It will be different stories still canon to the MCU told by Uatu the Watcher and considering that the multiverse has already opened in the finale of Loki, these may be some of the most boggling branched timelines created.

Marvel's What If..? Trailer

The official trailer of Marvel's What If..? shows different scenarios where Tony Stark was not caught by the bomb as he was saved by Killmonger and therefore not having the chance to make the Iron Man suit, Doctor Strange falling, the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and T'Challa being Star Lord getting the orb and with Yondu.

The trailer also has Black Widow, Hulk, and Thor, Loki having an Asgardian army behind him, Howard the Duck, Peggy Carter wearing the suit of Captain Britain while on the back of Steve Rogers donning the Hydra Stomper, Uatu the Watcher, Spider-Man, Marvel Zombies, Hawkeye, Gamora being a badass, a showdown between Ancient One and Strange, Drax with T'Challa, and many more.

Who is the cast of Marvel's What If..?

The original MCU cast will be voicing their respective characters for Marvel's What If..? with the addition of an amazing ensemble with Jeffrey Wright as Uatu the Watcher, Seth Green as Howard the Duck, and many more. It is as if the characters are animated and brought into the screens with their own voice but with a different story.

How many episodes are there for Marvel's What If..? – Nine episodes

Brad Winderbaum, the executive producer of Marvel's What If..?, has confirmed that the series would be having nine episodes instead of the ten originally planned in an interview with Collider. Winderbaum also revealed that Season 2 is already confirmed given that the episode cut-off would be forming part of such. He also teased that there could be more seasons for the show as the arc of Captain Carter would continue for that long.

As part of the slate of Marvel, What If..? will be exclusively streaming on Disney+ where episodes will be released every week, spanning from 30 minutes, more or less, depending on how much time the story would need.

Will Marvel's What If..? be on DVD or Blu-Ray? – No news yet.

As reported by TVLine, an inside scoop suggested that the shows of Marvel on Disney+ will not be released on either DVD or Blu-Ray as they have been told that there are no plans yet for the release of the physical copies of the series. This would include Marvel's What If..? as well. However, while there has been no word yet from Disney or Marvel, there is hope.
