Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Ends Japanese Theatrical Run with 13.7B Yen Box Office Haul

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is leaving Japanese theaters after today. The anime film has been screening in cinemas across Japan since December and it looks like fans made sure that it would be a huge success in the country. A new report confirms that the prequel brought in 13.7 billion yen in the five-month theatrical run.

The numbers were shared by Mantan Web which confirms that Jujutsu Kaisen 0 sold 9.77 million tickets up until May 28, its 156th day in theaters. The film's current total at the Japanese box office is 13.7 billion yen (US$120.77 million).

However, this isn't the final total for the movie just yet. After all, the numbers from its last day May 29 have not yet been revealed. With that in mind, there's a good chance Jujutsu Kaisen 0 drew in a huge crowd on Day 157, thanks to its final stage event.
