Jujutsu Kaisen’s second season has already ended, but that hasn’t stopped the series from trending, albeit from an unlikely source. That’s because R&B superstar Usher recently shared a TikTok of him as Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen.
Popular artists being anime fans isn’t a new thing. After all, stars like Megan Thee Stallion are notable for being huge fans of shows like JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
This is usually the case with younger artists. Thus, the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom was shocked by Usher’s post. It also helped that fans were in a daze as Usher spoiled one of the series’ biggest plot points.

Usher Spoils Gojo’s Fate While in Cosplay
Usher has long been one of the top names in R&B. In fact, he’s even dubbed the King of R&B thanks to his success and influence on the genre.
Even though his career has spanned decades now, Usher continues to be a popular figure. Recently, he became a trending topic in an unexpected fandom.
On TikTok, Usher shared a post of himself “cosplaying” as Jujutsu Kaisen’s Gojo, complete with scenes from the anime. What’s more, the post read “RIP Gojo.”
His outfit isn’t an exact cosplay, though it’s no doubt a reference to the fan-favorite Jujutsu Kaisen character. He even did Gojo’s signature pose at the end.
Usher’s Gojo TikTok, coupled with the fact that he spoiled Gojo’s apparent death, was not on anyone’s bingo card it seemed. That’s the case as lots of bewildered reactions were shared online.
The biggest talking point for many here is that Usher spoiled Gojo’s death, which is quite unfortunate for anime-only viewers.
On the flip side, spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen are incredibly difficult to avoid, meaning many fans are likely just joking about this.
Meanwhile, others are also surprised that Usher knows of and is apparently a fan of the series.

Fans Are Wondering if Usher Is a Jujutsu Kaisen Fan
Given that Usher’s post was unprompted, it’s safe to say that he likes the series, enough to know the latest developments regarding Gojo.
It may not be made to promote the anime, but it’s no doubt part of Usher’s promotion strategy for his upcoming album, Coming Home. After all, the album is in the post’s hashtag.
Aside from the album, Usher is also set to perform at the Super Bowl on February 11 – the same day that his album will be released.
With Usher sharing his love for Jujutsu Kaisen, it’ll be interesting to see if other artists and celebrities follow suit.
