Is the Attack on Titan Finale a Series?
Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3 isn't likely to be a series simply because there isn't enough manga material left for this to be feasible. However, it won't be a one-episode affair either.
It has been stated that Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3's premiere date will either be March 3 or 4, 2023 (depending on your region).
The end date, on the other hand, remains open. This means that it will be a two-part anime project at the very least.

Is the Attack on Titan Finale a Movie?
In anime terms and lengths, yes. According to the show's official Twitter account, Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 will be a 1-hour special.
Of course, this isn't a full-length movie, but it's still double the length of any single anime episode.
Anime Specials are often longer than the typical 22-25-minute episodes. But Attack on Titan Season 4 is a bit more complicated.
Can fans dare to believe that this will actually be the denouement of one of the most beloved anime shows of the past decade?

Attack on Titan Finale 2023 Release Explained
Once again, the March 3 one-hour special will not be the final finale of Attack on Titan as a second part is planned for later in 2023. The exact date will likely be announced shortly after the first Special's release.
The official Attack on Titan website has confirmed the above with the following statement:
We would like to inform you that the TV anime Attack on Titan The Final Season will be broadcast in two parts, the first part and the second part.
The first part is scheduled to be broadcast on NHK General at midnight on March 3, and the second part is scheduled to be broadcast in 2023.
At this point, many fans are a bit frustrated or at least amused by the constant branching of Attack on Titan's finale.
Everyone wants to find out everything about Eren's true plan (or see it animated, if they've already read the manga).
The constant delays have caused fans to joke that the show will keep branching indefinitely and that each of the two parts will be divided into two parts themselves.
While frustration is understandable, we're pleased to report that we can't see this happening. If anything, there isn't enough manga material left.
