It literally broke the internet when Episode 5 of Hawkeye finally unveils who the uncle of Maya is as it has been teased in Episode 3 when her childhood was explored and how she ended up with the Tracksuit mafia and finding Ronin. The mysterious figure in the suit even pressed her cheeks and it was enough to spark speculations on the identity of the man. Who is he?

In Hawkeye Episode 3, Echoes, Maya’s childhood was shown into how she became who she is today. She attended karate classes and reads the attack of her opponent. In said karate class was a mysterious guy wearing a suit and he even pressed the cheeks of young Maya. Later in the episode, Kazi mentioned about Maya’s uncle who runs the organization from the topmost chair.

At the end of Hawkeye Episode 5, Ronin, when Yelena was tracking who hired her, possibly curious on Kate’s question on the same, she followed Eleanor Bishop into what looks like a hotel and there she met someone. She immediately let Kate know that the one who hired her to target Hawkeye was none other than Eleanor Bishop and she just met with the big boss.

To Kate’s surprise, it was her mother all along but for Hawkeye, he, kind of, anticipated already who he will be facing next. He even shared the fact to his wife that he doesn’t want the big boss to be involved because when it happens, he doesn’t want to look at what comes next. That is how much of a threat the big boss is.

In an attachment sent by Yelena to Kate, Eleanor met with a man in a white suit, a familiar face for those who watched Netflix’s Daredevil as it is Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk. The big boss is Kingpin and he is the “uncle” reveal that everyone is waiting for.

It is long rumored that Kingpin, from Daredevil, will be making his way into the MCU and Vincent D’Onofrio would be back to reprise his role as Wilson Fisk. Now that he is here, it is exciting to think of what could be in store for the whole MCU now that another big bad has arrived. With Charlie Cox’s confirmed reprisal of his role, Daredevil, it will surely be not long enough before they meet again.
