Chainsaw Man Chapter 111 Ending Explained
In Chainsaw Man Chapter 111, Yuko reconnected with Asa Mitaka, apologizing for making a contract with the Justice Devil and promising to leave the school now that she has been transformed into a devil. Before she leaves, Asa gives Yuko her shoes and the two laugh at their situation.
Although Yuko is feeling repentant for her crimes, she is later decapitated by a figure who appears to be Chainsaw Man.
It's clear that the figure is not Denji because he was previously shown sleeping with Makima's dogs. Although there is a theory suggesting that the impostor is Hirofumi Yoshida, there is a huge possibility that it is actually a completely new devil that came to be because of Denji's popularity.
It has already been established that devils are spawned because of fear of certain objects like chainsaws, guns, bombs, and justice. Despite trying to save people, the Chainsaw Man is still a devil and his popularity also inspires fear along with misconceptions (eating people and cats, destroying buildings for fun, etc.). With that in mind, this fear has created the Chainsaw Man Devil and has set it loose on other devils.
For now, the truth about the mysterious figure has not yet been revealed. Hopefully, we'll find out exactly who it is in the next chapter.
