Following reports of its return, Shueisha has confirmed the Black Clover manga return date in August 2022 following its recent Hiatus.
The announcement of the series’ return was made in the 34th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. There, it detailed the specific return date of the next Black Clover manga chapter.
Black Clover 2022 Hiatus
In case you missed it, the manga went on hiatus back in late April. The announcement of the hiatus was made via a message from the Weekly Shonen Jump editorial team and creator Yuki Tabata.
According to the message, the series went on a three-month hiatus to give Tabata a chance to rest and get ready for the next arc.
It was also revealed that the next arc will be the final arc of the series, though this can also be interpreted to mean the final saga (a saga being composed of multiple arcs).
Whatever the case may be, this confirms that Black Clover is gearing up for an upcoming ending. Though right now, there’s no word yet on an ending date.
Black Clover Manga Return Date, Info
Black Clover is a manga series by Yuki Tabata which began serialization on Weekly Shonen Jump back in 2015. The series proved to be popular enough to receive an anime series adaptation by Pierrot which ran from 2017 to 2021.
Aside from the anime series, a Black Clover anime film has also been announced, and it will release sometime in 2023.

The series follows Asta and Yuno, two orphans who grew up together after being abandoned at a church. The two aim to become the “Wizard King” – the strongest mage in the kingdom.
While Yuno is a prodigy at magic, Asta lacks any magical abilities, so he instead trains himself physically. Soon, both boys obtain grimoires – Yuno gets the powerful four-leaf clover grimoire while Asta receives the mysterious five-leaf clover grimoire which grants him anti-magic abilities.
With grimoires in hand, Asta and Yuno begin their journey to become the next “Wizard King.”
Black Clover will return with Chapter 332 on August 1, 2022, in issue #35 of Weekly Shonen Jump.
