Black Clover follows Asta and Yuno, who were abandoned at a church as babies. Growing up, both dreamed of becoming a "Wizard King," the strongest mage in the kingdom, and promised to compete against each other for the role.

But while Yuno grew stronger, Asta developed no affinity for magic. Instead, Asta obtains a five-leaf grimoire which allows him to use anti-magic; the ability to nullify the power of others.

The two friends both set out with the same goal; to become the Wizard King. But does Asta ever get magic? And will Asta or Yuno become the next Wizard King?

Chapter 331 of the shonen manga ended on a high note, with a victory in favor of the human characters, so the next chapter is likely to start a new arc.

Both Asta and Yuno know more about their birth families than ever before, and it'll be interesting to see the future choices they're going to make as a result.

Fans were particularly shocked to find out that Julius had an evil alter ego - though there was plenty of foreshadowing. The revelation left many fans confused, so it's one of the topics we expect to see further explored in the chapters to come.

Black Clover Chapter 332 is going to be released in the summer of 2022, though the exact date isn't yet known, as the Weekly Shonen Jump Editorial Team has announced a 3-month hiatus in preparation for the final arc.
