The past year was quite shaky for the titles following the merger of Warner Bros. Discovery and the change in leadership in the studio but that doesn't mean there would not be any DC releases coming out in 2023! Check out all the shows and movies that they are arriving this year and where to watch it!

While Warner Bros. Discovery has been under some major revamp in 2022, this year remains to boast a flourishing amount of titles for DC. There were a lot of titles that said goodbye to everyone after not being renewed or cancelled but the remainder of those which are still active would be coming out in 2023.

Now under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran as the co-CEOs of DC Studios, the two are in the process of laying out the new plans for DC's very own universe and while that hasn't been revealed yet, the remains of the previous DCEU would still run through this year. Check it all out.

The Scarlet Speedster is on his final run as his television series closes in with the ninth and last season on The CW. Grant Gustin will suit up one last time in The Flash Series Finale as Barry Allen/ Flash, making it one of the last Arrowverse shows in existence.

With 13 episodes, The Flash Season 9 will be divided into at least two "Graphic Novel" storyline arcs, and for the last time, Flash will team up with his friends in his final effort to save the world. As the series ends with the final installment of The Flash, it prepares everyone to say goodbye to a while era of DC shows.

The Flash Season 9 will premiere on February 8, 2023 at 8 PM EST on The CW.

February is, indeed, the season of love and this brings the adult animated series of Harley Quinn for a special presentation while waiting for Season 4. The Maiden of Mischief will be having her own Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special.

Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special will be having the titular Harley with Poison Ivy as they spend the month of love together with a perspective on how the rest of their gang celebrate Valentine's, too. Hey, love comes in all forms!

This mushy-gushy Valentine's special will be arriving on HBO Max in February 2023.

Flying through this year is Superman & Lois Season 3 and while Jordan Elsass, who plays Jonathan Kent, exists the show as reported by Deadline, a new actor steps in as Jonathan Kent with Michael Bishop being tapped to join the series for Season 3.

Also joining the band is Chad Coleman, known for his roles in The Orville and The Walking Dead, who will be the main villain in Superman & Lois Season 3, Bruno Mannheim, the crime boss of Intergang, also known as Ugly, the son of Moxie Mannheim.

Superman & Lois Season 3 will be arriving on March 14, 2023 at 8 PM EST on The CW.

The first DC movie to come out in 2023 was supposedly going up against Avatar: The Way of Water but that didn't feel right because there is only one spotlight so the DC film made the necessary adjustment to give the characters the attention they all deserve.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods marks the return of the Shazam family, as they face duo to be reckoned with, the daughter of Atlas, Hera and Kalypso. While it remains a question whether their narrative will be carried over to the plans for the new DC under Gunn and Safran, at least, the sequel hasn't been canned.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods is slated for a theatrical release on March 17, 2023.

The Flash — June 16, 2023

For a really long time, The Flash movie has been under development and in 2023, finally, it may now be crossing the finish line as it debuts on June 16, 2023, and much to the surprise of many, the project remained even with the controversies that Ezra Miller cooked over the past year.

Releasing The Flash as planned and promised, the Ezra Miller-led movie will have a Flashpoint-inspired narrative with time travelling, multiple versions of Flash, a multiversal Supergirl, and yes, the return of Michael Keaton as Batman, the saving grace, really.

The Flash arrives in theaters on June 16, 2023

Blue Beetle — August 18, 2023

What's supposed to be a straight-to-streaming release on HBO Max just got a huge upgrade as Blue Beetle is now set for a theatrical release featuring Jaime Reyes as the titular character and it teases Khaji Da with everything about alien tech throughout.

Of all the negatives, Blue Beetle has been blessed with the positives and it will not come out in theaters on August 18, 2023.

Pushed too far back is Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the last DC movie slated to release in 2023 as the Christmas treat of the franchise to everyone. Jason Momoa will suit up again as the hero of Atlantis with his very own new suit.

The movie has faced a lot of setbacks and reshoots considering the case of Amber Heard, the one who plays Mera in the film, and the back and forth decisions on whether to cut her off of the sequel or let her be in it considering that the shake up could affect the sequel, too, right?

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom makes waves in theaters on December 25, 2023.

The first part of Doom Patrol Season 4 is currently airing for six episodes until January 2023, and the series will be facing a break before the next six episodes come out as Doom Patrol Season 4 Part 2 where the team is sent to the future to save the world.

Doom Patrol Season 4 Part 1 is currently airing on HBO Max. There is no exact release date yet for Part 2 but it is slated for a 2023 release.

Another The CW show on the list, Gotham Knights is a new series where the setting is after the death of Batman so his adopted son, Turner Hayes, takes on the mantle of being the protector of Gotham City along with Carrie Kelley, Harper Row and her brother Cullen, Stephanie Brown, and Duela Dent.

Two-Face/ Haver Dent is expected to be the villain of the series and the Court of Owls could be bringing the wrong side of justice. While it has the same title as the video game, the two are not related. Gotham Knights has no definite release date yet but it comes out in 2023.
