When someone walks out the door, another one steps in but in a different way as for Superman & Lois Season 3, following the exit of Jordan Elsass, the cast will reportedly gain another member with Chad L. Coleman from The Orville as the main villain which is yet to be disclosed.
The Orville's Chad L. Coleman will reportedly be joining the cast of Superman & Lois Season 3 in a mystery villain role. During The CW's Arrow Guests: Saving Star City" panel at Dragon Con over the weekend, Arrowverse regular David Ramsey revealed the casting as reported by The Direct.
Theories point to Coleman's role, being a villain but yet to be disclosed, to Bruno Mannheim, the Intergang leader mentioned by John Diggle during the finale of Superman & Lois Season 2, which may seem to be a set up for his arrival. However, nothing is confirmed yet.
Coleman is known for his role as Klyden in The Orville and other credits such as Tyreese Williams in The Walking Dead, Fred Johnson in The Expanse, and Cutty in The Wire.
Coleman is no stranger playing a villainous role in the Arrowverse as he already played one in Arrow Season 5 as Tobias Church for four episodes in 2016. His Arrowverse comeback may be sweeter this time around.
Chad L. Coleman would be joining Superman & Lois Season 3 alongside the series staples Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch playing the titular couple and Alexander Garfin as their son, Jordan Kent. Jonathan Kent's role will be recast after the exit of Jordan Elsass for personal reasons.
Other cast members returning for Superman & Lois Season 3 are Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Sofia Hasmik, Wolé Parks, Dylan Walsh, and Inde Navarrette.
Superman & Lois Season 3 is expected to arrive in early 2023 on The CW. There is no definitive release date yet for the series. The first two seasons are currently streaming on The CW.
