Who Is Kurama?

Kurama is the nine-tailed beast that has lived within Naruto since he was a baby.

Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, utilized the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to cut Kurama's chakra in half and seal the other half in Naruto, in the belief that his son would be the Child of Prophecy, as Jiraiya speculated.

Unfortunately, Naruto's parents died while attempting to shield him from the nine-tailed beast's impending attack.

Following that, Naruto started living as a jinchuriki, and the rest is history.

Naruto and Kurama became closer as they fought together in some of Naruto's most action-packed arcs, such as the Pain arc and The Fourth Great Shinobi War.

Later, Kurama met his untimely demise after pouring all of his chakra into Naruto's Baryon Mode.

Is Kurama Back in Boruto? Possible Appearance Explained

The leaks for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 9 confirm the appearance of what looked like a mini Kurama behind Himawari, sending all the Naruto and Boruto fans into a frenzy.

According to the spoilers, Himawari finds herself on the Bijuu plane, where tailed beasts can telepathically communicate.

With Kurama's possible return, many are wondering what the explanation will be behind Himawari and her connection with the mini nine-tailed beast.

Others believe that the Boruto anime has already foreshadowed this connection, owing to the scene when Himawari was holding a poster showing a baby Kurama plushie.

All of these made some people think that Himawari is possibly a jinchuriki, given how Jura and Hidari detected Naruto's presence on her, even though Kawaki sealed Naruto in the Daikokuten Dimension.

Meanwhile, some predict that Himawari inherited a faint level of nine-tailed beast chakra from Naruto, thus the connection.

Previously, fans have given their theories about possible ways Kurama could come back to Boruto.

One theory suggests Kurama will likely reincarnate once the collected chakra utilized to sustain his existence is reformed.

However, it will take a very long time because it will require a substantial amount of chakra to bring him back.

Another theory argues that the manga killed Kurama for good to nerf Naruto, giving more room for Boruto and the other characters to grow in the series.
