What Is Boruto: Two Blue Vortex About?
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is a new manga series that starts with a three-year time skip after the conclusion of the Omnipotence arc.
The first chapter of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga showcases events after three years of Boruto and Sasuke’s departure from Konohagakure.
Sarada Uchiha, who remains a Genin, argues with Shikamaru Nara, the Eighth Hokage over Boruto’s innocence.
Frustrated by things not moving forward, Sarada asserts that Naruto, not Shikamaru, is her role model.
Later, Sumire and Sarada meet Daemon and Eida to seek answers.
Eida explains that due to the nature of Omnipotence, she is uncertain about reversing its effects.
Meanwhile, Eida questions why Sumire and Sarada retain details of the original timeline, leading them to downplay it.
However, Daemon remains suspicious of their façade. Elsewhere, Kawaki attempts to soothe Mitsuki and his aggressive feelings against Boruto. He also tells Mitsuki to stop following him like a pervert.
We also see Claw Grimes start appearing all over the village. Swiftly, Shikamaru commands an evacuation of Konohagakure.
In a different part of the village, Code appears and challenges Sarada to lure Boruto out.
Eventually, his ploy succeeds as Boruto arrives and steps on Code’s face. Konoha’s sensory unit, Eida, and Kawaki detect Boruto’s presence.
Shikamaru instructs the squad to focus on battling Code and the Claw Grimes while remaining vigilant for Boruto’s next move.
In the meantime, Boruto prepares to face off against Code, with Sarada right behind him.
Is Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Weekly?
No, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will not release weekly. Chapter 1 of the new manga series came out on August 21, 2023.
However, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 2 will not be released on August 28, 2023. Viz has confirmed that Chapter 2 is slated to release on September 20, 2023.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Manga Release Schedule
As confirmed by Viz, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will adhere to the release schedule of its predecessor, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
New chapters of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex are expected to release between the 18th and 21st of every month.
However, the release schedule may vary in case of a break or hiatus by the author or publisher.
