The Blue Lock manga is available to read online on Kodansha's official English website. But you have to create a subscription account on the website to enjoy more chapters.

The first two chapters of the Blue Lock manga are available for free on the official website of Kodansha USA, even without an account. The third chapter is also free once you start an account.

To gain access to the succeeding chapters and manga volumes in digital form, you need to purchase a subscription account.

The Blue Lock manga, which was first published in August 2018, is still ongoing. It has so far published 26 individual tankobon manga volumes, with over 200 chapters.

The Blue Lock manga has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine since its inception.

Muneyuki Kaneshiro, the brilliant mind behind the hit manga series, As the Gods Will and Jagaaan, created Blue Lock.

On the other hand, Blue Lock is illustrated by Yusuke Nomura, Hajime Isayama's assistant in Attack on Titan, who debuted his one-shot manga, Emperor of the Sands, in Weekly Shonen Magazine.

Blue Lock also received a spin-off manga titled Blue Lock: Episode Nagi, which was written and illustrated by Kota Sannomiya in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.

This spin-off manga will also get a film adaptation at a later date!

Blue Lock is a sports and thriller manga about Yoichi Isagi, an ordinary high school soccer player.

Along with 299 other talented strikers with powerful weapons, Yoichi enters the Blue Lock Program after losing in his championship game.

The soccer enigma, Ego Jinpachi, reveals in the Blue Lock Program that Japan is looking for the World's Greatest Egoist Striker to lead the country to World Cup victory.

Yoichi must stay in the program or else, his soccer career will be over in an instant.

The first season of Blue Lock consists of 24 episodes in sub and dub. The second season is now in production, but the exact release date has not been set yet.

Is Blue Lock on Shonen Jump?

The Blue Lock manga is not available on VIZ or the Shonen Jump app. The reason behind this is that the manga is not published by Shueisha, which publicizes Shonen Jump and co-owns VIZ Media.

Blue Lock is instead published by Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine. The manga's first volume was released in November 2018, and the 21st volume was released in October 2022.

Furthermore, Kodansha USA holds the North American license for its official English digital release and print.
