Episode Nagi Explores Nagi’s Soccer Life before the Blue Lock Program
Blue Lock: Episode Nagi, as the title suggests, centers on the genius player, Nagi Seishirou, before his time in the Blue Lock facility.
Filmgoers will see how Mikage Reo convinced Nagi to join him in his dream of winning the World Cup and making his parents proud. Not to mention Nagi’s cactus, Choki, with whom he spends his time talking every morning.
Fans will also see how Nagi grows as a person, from a lethargic and uninterested student to one of Blue Lock's most focused and goal-hungry players.
If you've read the movie's source material, you'll be expecting to see Reo and Nagi's unusual soccer style when they compete against Aomori High School's soccer team in a practice match!
Blue Lock: Episode Nagi will be a story of growth, friendship, and ambition as Nagi discovers there’s a lot more to him than living a simple and slow life.
After all, Nagi originally wanted to retire early and live a comfortable life away from the hassles of the world.
He went to Hakuho High School in the hopes of joining a good company so that he could live an easy life in the future.
But when Nagi joined Reo in the Blue Lock program, everything changed!

Blue Lock: Episode Nagi Japan and US Release Dates Revealed
The Blue Lock: Episode Nagi movie premiered on April 19, 2024, in Japanese theaters.
In what is good news for US fans of Blue Lock, Crunchyroll has confirmed that the upcoming spinoff movie will be screened in North American theaters on June 28.
Blue Lock: Episode Nagi will be available in both the English dub and the original Japanese dub with English subtitles.
