The chemistry between Chris Evans and Ana de Armas is so strong that the two are working together in a movie once again. The pair initially worked together in the first Knives Out movie, which came out in 2019, and again in The Gray Man, which came out in 2022.
In Knives Out, their roles seemed to suggest they would have a romantic pairing together. But after it was revealed that Evans' character, Ransom Drysdale, was the villain in the movie and he was framing Marta Cabrera (played by Ana de Armas), the chemistry between them naturally fizzled out.
This time around, the two star in Apple TV+'s Ghosted, which is a modern-day rom-com in the style of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's 2005 movie, Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The first trailer for the film dropped today and it shows the two having the ultimate meet-cute. But as the title says, Evans is ghosted by de Armas.

What Is Ghosted About Chris Evans’ New Movie?
Chris Evans stars in Ghosted as Cole, a farmer, who has a first date with mysterious Sadie (played by Ana de Armas). The two hit it off right away, at least that's what Cole thinks. Cole even confides to his dad that "she might be the one."
Unfortunately, he discovers that Sadie isn't responding to him and could have ghosted him because "she doesn't have an international calling plan." HIs mom suggests he goes to London to surprise her.
Once overseas, however, Cole gets kidnapped and is rescued by Sadie, who is apparently working for the CIA. All this action because Sadie is "the one."
Who Stars in Ghosted?
Ghosted was directed by Dexter Fletcher with a script written by Rhett Reese, Chris McKenna, Paul Wernick, and Erik Sommers.

Scarlett Johansson was originally cast for the role of Sadie, which would have been another reunion project between the two Marvel superheroes. But due to scheduling conflicts, Johansson had to drop out of the project and got replaced with de Armas.
When Is Ghosted Coming Out?
In September 2021, Ghosted was said to be in development. A few months later, pre-production started in January 2022.
Production status was completed by December 2022. And now, the film is finally ready for release on Apple TV+ on April 21, 2023.
It is produced by Apple Studios and Skydance Media.

Yes, the first trailer for Ghosted was released today and it shows a pretty exciting and new character for Ana de Armas. This just might be a peek at how de Armas does action, especially since she'll be the lead in the upcoming John Wick spinoff movie, Ballerina.
