The first 28-days window of Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 is finally over and the beloved Netflix series lands an amazing feat as it ended with almost 1 billion hours streamed plus Volume 2 arriving in a few days. As the show nears the mark, will it be able to dethrone the current record holder, Squid Game?
Netflix has a way to track how successful a show is with a “first 28 days” window, something like the first few weeks of the box office of a movie, which determines whether a series reached success or not. This is determined through the hours of streaming and Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 almost reached the 1 billion mark by the end of the window period.
In total, Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 got 930,320,000 hours streamed around the globe in the first 28 days of its release. Unfortunately, the beloved show was unable to dethrone the current record holder, Squid Game, which remains to be th #1 Netflix show of all-time boasting a 1.65 billion hours streamed within the 28-day window.
Still, Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 1 holds a place at the top and the views continue to pour in especially with Volume 2 releasing in a few days. The final two episodes have 85 minutes and 139 minutes respectively and it would be a tough fight if it would target dethroning Squid Game with just two episodes.

Fans remain excited as to how things will turn out in Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 as the final battle is closing in between Vecna and Eleven while the Hawkins gang finds a way to save Nancy, the California team nears finding Eleven, and Russia group still having no way home.
The show continues to make waves as Eleven does her best to regain her powers, Mike and the California team tries to find her, the Hawkins gang holds the fort where they first-hand experience the wrath of Vecna’s curse, and the group in Russia meets each other as Joyce and Hopper reunite.
