What Happened Before She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 7?
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 6, Just Jen, no, it isn't the episode where all the huge things are coming out. As Jen says, “It’s a self-contained wedding episode!” Yes, at an inconvenient time, like how weddings usually are and as per Jen, it's fine, she's going to look amazing.
See, Jen got an invitation to be a bridesmaid and she doesn't know how to turn it down so she's just going to attend. She's going to the wedding as "Shulkie" and she will bring a suit that Luke Jacobson made just for her. As for Nikki, well, she's staying at work with Mallory Book on a divorce case.
Despite losing touch with Lulu, a childhood friend, and she feels as if she got invited as an obligation, Jen arrives at the wedding rehearsal and feels amazing in her blue polka-dot dress from Luke. Well, she rocks her new physique. Unfortunately, the bride isn't thrilled about that.
Jen's partner in the entourage is nowhere to be found but according to Lulu, it'll be Jonathan, who is lovely, according to everyone else. Lulu comes up to Jen and apologizes for not being able to keep in touch and she isn't even interested that Jen has powers, she wants to know if Jen has a guy.
The chat is cut short as Titania enters the scene. This woman always knows how to make an entrance. Jen is surprised and it turns out, Titania is a date of one of the groomsmen. Lulu appreciates that Titania attended despite her businesses and it doesn't just fit right with Jen.
Titania says not everything is about Jen so she walks out and grabs some nuts to sulk outside. Surprisingly, a guy approaches Jen, a guest of the groom, and he immediately gets his pick-up lines on Jen, hoping it'll work on her.
Unfortunately, a stressed bride makes a stressful wedding and Lulu storms out to ask Jen to clean up with her. Half of the staff quit and Lulu wonders why. (Well, Lulu, your attitude is sickening and you treat your bridesmaid as a maid, not even the staff could stand that.)
Meanwhile, at GLK&H, Mallory meets with Craig Hollis, a.k.a. Mr. Immortal who is asking for help about his own divorce case. Well, he's not built for tough conversations so to end a relationship, he resorts to his ability of not dying through faking his death. Get it? He "dies" and leaves a widow.
Nikki, who has been taking down notes, is perplexed about the complexity of the situation. Mallory, too, is confused as to how one guy could get away like that and circumvent the law of marriage through "dying" over and over again.
He couldn't take Mallory and Nikki confusing over his situation and, as said, he's not built for tough conversations so he ran to the window and jumped. Yes, he killed himself but being Mr. Immortal, he picks himself up and walks away -- a perfect example of what he does to his former spouses.
Nine widows (eight wives and one husband) appeared before Mr. Immortal at GLK&H and they are all complaining about Mr. Immortal's shenanigans and Mallory asks one widow how they discovered it. She answers that they found a video of him on Intelligencia, what Mallory calls as “the website for hateful man babies.”
Mallory calls in for a small huddle and she reiterates to Mr. Immortal to heed to the call of the widows because he should be thankful that he isn't behind bars for the criminal charges that could be filed against him. Mallory knows the best way out is that Mr. Immortal has to pay.
When Mallory raises to the widows that Mr. Immortal's money would just be divided to them equally, they all exclaimed that such isn't fair. Thankfully, Nikki's charm works almost all the time. She sorts everyone's request out and makes something out of it, even a 20-second sincere apology with eye contact!
As for Jen, it's the big day and the whole bride squad is as mean as the bride asking Jen to do some laundry. (Yes, indeed, birds of the same feather flock together.) Jen is less interested to find out that his entourage partner is a dog, Jonathan.
It's a wedding but the drinks aren't free but with nothing better to do at the wedding, Jen splurges her cash for drinks and being Jen, she could get drunk. She even calls Bruce. Jen flirts with "Josh, Joshua, Joshinson." However, human reflexes kicks in her and she has to throw up.
While doing so outside, Titania is there, still fixated on her revenge. Titania punches Jen over and over again but she is a loyal friend who stays true to her promise to the mean bride that she will not turn into She-Hulk.
Titania whines because apparently, Jen ruins everything for her even when Jen doesn't want what she takes from Titania. Yes, she's dealing with some fame issues. Jen gets full and she tries to be She-Hulk but forgot how to so after some tries, she gets through.
Oh, by the way, Jen's cousin, Ched, is the DJ at the wedding. As soon as Jen and Titania fights, he announced an official "wedding fight" complete with a horn! Titania punches back but She-Hulk's just too much for her. Worse, she slips on ice cubes and messed up her veneers really bad.
Titania leaves with the wedding cake, humiliated, and Lulu steps right in. Just as Jen is about to explain what happened, Lulu turns out to be drunk and a huge fan of She-Hulk. So, no, Jen didn't get in trouble!
At GLK&H, Mallory and Nikki celebrate their success on Mr. Immortal's case and they search through the video that got him caught. The open Intelligencia and Nikki signs up. Surprisingly, there are a lot of She-Hulk haters there, even death threats. Mallory says Jen shouldn't see it.
Of course, Nikki's the best friend, she spills it to Jen but it is just going through her voice mail. Jen's busy with Josh as they share a plate of fries. It's a cute moment, however, there's some surveillance on them.
There's a laboratory that watches over them and an Intelligencia user "HulkKing" asks whether their plan gets a green light. It turns out, the same lab has the same syringe that the Wrecking Crew used on Jen in Episode 3, and they are preparing for a bigger syringe.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 7 Spoilers, Theories, and Leaks
Following the departure of the previous episode to the series tradition of having no post-credits scene, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law Episode 6 still has no fun tag but it continues to build up the series as it gives another baffling end scene.
There's Mr. Immortal who is more than just a man who had nine spouses and hated "tough conversations" so he just "dies," but in the comics, he is actually one of the founding members of the "Great Lakes Avengers," a team which helped the Avengers on various missions.
While his name is Mr. Immortal, death is not impossible for him as Deadpool successfully ended his life three times in various ways. Maelstrom did the same, too. It seems that Mr. Immortal can only be killed by another person with the gift or curse of immortality.
Also, he shares that he is married to Baroness Cromwell. That name rings a bell to the readers of the comics as she may be Lily Cromwell who was bit by a vampire and became Baroness. Her mention means that Mr. Immortal may have lived as long as the 17th century.
Jen, being drunk, also gives a call to Bruce. Well, he wouldn't answer, of course, as he is in outer space where he seems to be dealing with the Sakaarans after they paid him a visit in the first two episodes. It may be a hint that Hulk could be back by the end of the series.
Meanwhile, fans are disappointed that Daredevil hasn't appeared yet but the previous episode wasn't directed by Kat Coiro and it is expected that Daredevil will be arriving in an episode Coiro helmed, that would mean he may arrive in Episode 8 or 9.
By the end of the episode, there is a user of Intelligencia named "HulkKing" and he communicates with a laboratory of scientists who, surprisingly, has the syringe that the Wrecking Crew used. Worse, the conversation indicates that they're preparing another special syringe for Jen's blood.
Intelligencia may be some "website for hateful man babies," but in the comics, it appeared as a group of the smartest supervillains from the Fall of the Hulks by Paul Pelletier and Jeff Parker in 2009. They do evil things that would benefit them all such as Red She-Hulk, Amadeus Cho, and A-Bomb.
They are led by M.O.D.O.K. and the Leader, both of whom would be appearing in the MCU under other projects. M.O.D.O.K. would be coming out in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania while the Leader would be arriving in Captain America: New World Order.
Other members of the Intelligencia are Egghead, a villain of Ant-Man, the Red-Ghost and the Mad Thinker who are villain of the Fantastic Four, the Wizard who is a rival of Mr. Fantastic, The Trapster, and the Chameleon who is a villain of Spider-Man.
There is also Ms. Sinister who is a villain of the X-Men and Doctor Doom, one of the highly anticipated villains to arrive in the MCU who is expected to appear on Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever. With the mention of Intelligencia in the She-Hulk, it teases the arrival of these supervillains.
Lastly, there is a blink-or-miss-it Loki Easter egg in the episode. When Mallory and Nikki were watching the video of Mr. Immortal, on the side features a title of "Top 10 Best Travel Destinations" which contains the map of Cookeville which was bombed by Sylvie in Loki.
