Prince Charles and Prince Harry’s relationship has, reportedly, been strained for years. The father and son’s issues started way before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle began dating. However, things became much worse between Prince Charles and Prince Harry after the latter announced his Megxit.
Earlier this year, Prince Harry and Markle sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey, where they seemingly threw shade at Prince Charles. Prince Harry accused his dad of not supporting him financially, and he also accused the future king of not taking Markle’s pleas for help seriously.

However, a spokesperson for the heir to the throne denied the allegations by saying that Prince Charles continued to support his son and daughter-in-law even after they quit The Firm.
Prince Charles, Prince Harry Could Reconcile Soon
New Idea, in its Nov. 15 issue, claimed that Prince Charles is open to reconciling with his youngest son if the latter asks for his forgiveness. An unnamed source claimed that Prince Charles had a change of heart after Queen Elizabeth asked him to consider fixing his relationship with Prince Harry.

Since Christmas is just a few weeks away, the queen wants all the members of the royal family to get along so that they could be together for the occasion. Following the monarch’s recent health scare, she couldn’t allegedly help but think that this could be her last holiday.
“The queen is not sugar-coating this. She’s told Harry she feels this could well be her last Christmas and she wants to meet her great-granddaughter. There is, of course, one condition – that Harry makes peace with his father,” an unnamed source claimed.
Queen Elizabeth’s Climate Change Summit Speech Directed At Charles, William, Harry?
Last week, the monarch welcomed attendees to the climate change summit in Glasgow via a video recording. Her Majesty was supposed to attend the event, but her recent health scare prevented her from doing so.
In her speech, the queen said that “none of us will live forever.” The unnamed source claimed that this statement seemed to be directed at Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince Harry.
“The queen wants to ingrain in him the lasting damage it will do to her family if he allows this feud to continue much longer. She knows that if Charles and Harry forgive each other, Prince William is more likely to forgive his brother, too. She feels that leaving William to become king without a sibling to support him is setting him up to fail,” the unnamed source explained.
For now, the queen’s final Christmas guest list has not yet been released. But she’s allegedly hoping that the occasion will be the perfect time for her to meet Prince Harry’s daughter, Lilibet Diana, and to reunite with Markle and Archie.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Jeopardized Prince Charles’ Plans
However, Prince Charles and Prince Harry’s alleged feud is far from over. In fact, it was reportedly reignited following the queen’s hospitalization.
While speaking on the Palace Confidentialpodcast, royal expert Ed Owens said that Prince Harry and Markle jeopardized Prince Charles’ lifelong desire to streamline the monarchy.

If Prince Harry and Markle didn’t quit The Firm, Prince Charles would’ve relied on him and Prince William after the queen’s hospitalization.
“He would rather it had revolved around that core set of royals; originally his two trusty lieutenants William and Harry. Unfortunately, since Harry and Meghan’s departure, it has kind of thrown that plan into jeopardy. There will be a re-thinking. We’ve seen this with the Wessexes, for example, they’ve been drafted in to undertake new royal duties,” Eden said.

Prince William, Prince Harry Still At Odds With Each Other
As for Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship, it’s unlikely for the brothers to resolve their issues anytime soon. In July, a source told People that Prince Charles was shellshocked by the brothers’ feud.
“He is very hurt and upset by the ongoing fallout,” the source said.
But at the end of the day, Prince Charles seems to be siding more with Prince William since they are the future of the British monarchy.
