Millie Bobby Brown Had An Eggo Waffle Spit Bucket On Stranger Things Set

Millie Bobby Brown recently shared a shocking behind-the-scenes secret. Her on-screen character, Eleven or El, for short, is known to be a huge fan of Mike’s Eggo waffles ever since she took her first bite of it on Stranger Things. However, it seems that El and Millie do not share the same taste off-screen.

In an interview with WIRED, one of the things Millie had to answer, aside from revealing her favorite video games, was if Millie Bobby Brown liked waffles, and to that, the actress smiled at first before bluntly saying ‘no.’ You can watch her interview below:

“No, I don’t, and people think I do, but actually, in Stranger Things, I had a little spit bucket next to me and I’d spit into it, because I couldn’t swallow waffles, because I’d gag.”

It’s one thing to dislike a type of food you have to eat on set, but to the brink of having a spit bucket on set for it? Well, totally not unheard of. This was similar to the case of when Looney Tunes’ Bug Bunny voice actor Mel Blanc would occasionally spat out the carrots he chewed on as he only needed them to gear up in voicing his character.

Millie won’t have to worry about keeping the spit bucket near her any longer, as Stranger Things will soon be ending its finale with season 5, bearing the title, ‘The Crawl’ as revealed by the Duffer Brothers online. Despite having an ominous title, fan theories circulated that this might be the sign Joseph Quinn’s Eddie Munson will be coming back from the Upside Down, with others speculating it’s Vecna’s return.

Meanwhile, you can watch Millie Bobby Brown on Enola Holmes 2 which is currently streaming on Netflix.
