The said meeting reportedly came after the Sussex pair’s frustrating trip to the U.K. for the Jubilee long weekend.
The entertainment news outlet added that having another bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey would help Meghan Markle and Prince Harry drum up publicity for their imminent Netflix series and the duke’s tell-all memoir that is expected to be released before the year ends.

Royal expert Phil Dampier exclusively divulged to New Idea that the royal family may need to brace themselves for the most shocking double-crossing yet from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. He added that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are willing to do another interview even though the threat of any more family details coming out would be a “total disaster” for them if they still want to have any hope of healing their strained relationship with the Windsors.
Of Prince Harry’s dad and brother – Prince Charles and Prince William, respectively – Phil Dampier shared:
“I can’t image Charles or William ever trusting them again. If Harry and Meghan do another tell-all it will spell the end of their relationship with the monarchy – not just the institution but also their blood relatives.”

“I’m convinced they’ve rewritten history but have done it so often they believe it themselves and therefore can sleep soundly at night. Eventually, they will run out of ammunition, but by then the damage will have been done. The royals won’t want them back and neither will the British public. It’s all so incredibly sad as they were once so popular.”

Vernon, who was a barber and businessman in Nashville, died on Friday, July 8, after battling cancer.

"Vernon Winfrey 1933-2022. Less than a week ago we honored my father in his own backyard. My friend and gospel singer Wintley Phipps saluted him with [a] song. He FELT the love and reveled in it until he could no longer speak," the TV host wrote, alongside a video of the moment. Yesterday with family surrounding his bedside I had the sacred honor of witnessing the man responsible for my life, take his last breath. We could feel Peace enter the room at his passing. That Peace still abides. All is well. Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts.”
