Meghan Markle is said to be not on good terms with Kate Middleton and the other members of the royal family. There were even reports saying that the former actress’ strained relationship with the Duchess of Cambridge is among the many reasons why she decided to ditch the royal life for good.
It was claimed that the royal family had second thoughts after learning about Prince Harry’s plan to marry Meghan Markle even if they only dated for two years. There were also speculations that the beef between Prince William and Prince Harry affected the duchesses’ relationship.
Now, new reports suggested that Queen Elizabeth appeared to have snubbed Meghan Markle after she handed Kate Middleton a very rare honor. Keep on reading to know more details.
Queen Elizabeth Favored Kate Middleton And Snubbed Meghan Markle?
Express UK reported that Queen Elizabeth let Kate Middleton borrow a pair of sapphire and diamond earrings during the Together at Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday. Daniela Elser claimed this is the second time the wife of Prince William was seen sporting the jewelry that belongs to Her Majesty.
The royal expert shared Queen Elizabeth has likely lent the said accessory to Kate Middleton permanently. However, Meghan Markle was only allowed to borrow the wedding tiara of the British monarch.
This, according to the publication, led some royal fans to believe that Queen Elizabeth trusts Kate Middleton more than Meghan Markle. Daniela Elser, during an interview with News.com.au, stated:
"While the former actress might own pieces which had belonged personally to Diana, Princess of Wales, getting to frock up in some enormous sparklers from the royal trove was a perk she never enjoyed."
Royal biographer Christopher Anderson also suggested, via his new book, that Queen Elizabeth did not include photographs of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry during her Christmas speech in 2019.
In the Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan book, Christopher Anderson claimed that Queen Elizabeth intentionally snubbed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In an interview with Us Weekly, the royal biographer said a photo of Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and Archie was “very prominently displayed” during her traditional Christmas speech in 2018.

This, according to Christopher Anderson, was the primary reason why numerous royal fans were shocked not to see a photo of the Sussex in 2019. The royal biographer claimed Queen Elizabeth said she would not be needing the photo of Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and Archie anymore at the time.
Meanwhile, Her Majesty chose to display a large photo of Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Christopher Anderson shared, as per Marie Claire:
“There are all sorts of subtle messages that are conveyed in this kind of soap opera that goes on. I think that was a hurtful [thing for Prince Harry to see],” said the author. “A friend of Harry’s told me that he felt that he was being erased in a sense from the family. And it was right after that, that they made their [decision to leave the UK]. I think that was one of the things that prompted them to issue the statement that they were stepping back from royal [life for a] full-time real life. It seems very subtle, but when you think about it, when somebody cuts you out of the family album, so to speak, it’s a pretty strong message.”
Meghan Markle has yet to comment on the reports claiming that Queen Elizabeth snubbed her. The wife of Prince Harry has also yet to respond to the claims that Her Majesty trusts Kate Middleton more than her.
Meghan Revealed Her True Age In The Court?
Meanwhile, netizens have speculated that Meghan Markle revealed her true age in the court documents following her recent victory against a British newspaper group. Royal biographer Angela Levin retweeted a post that referred to the Duchess of Sussex as “Princess Pinocchio,” which is a term TV presenter Piers Morgan uses for Prince Harry’s wife.
One Twitter user shared a screenshot of an alleged email from Meghan Markle. On the said tweet, he commented:
"I think they are talking about Meghan's emails that were submitted as evidence. She, nor her lawyers, challenged their authenticity. These were the "facts" she wanted Jason to go over with the authors of FF[ Finding Freedom"].
Most, if not all, royal followers are aware that Meghan Markle is three years older than her husband, Prince Harry. The former Suits actress, after celebrating her privacy victory, expressed hope that her fight against the press would encourage others to hold the industry to account and change it for the better.
After the court judges rejected Associated Newspapers’ appeal, Meghan Markle said:
“[It was] a victory not just for me but for anyone else who has ever felt scared to stand up for what´s right. What matters most is that we are now collectively brave enough to reshape a tabloid industry that conditions people to be cruel and profits from the lies and pain that they create.”
In February, the Court of Appeal in London upheld a High Court ruling that the publication of the letter that Meghan Markle wrote to her father, Thomas Markle, after she tied the knot with Prince Harry in 2018 was unlawful and breached her privacy.
