Liam Neeson is returning to the Star Wars Universe! Dave Filoni has just confirmed a new Disney+ series Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi which will focus on several beloved characters including Qui-Gon Jinn!

Dave Filoni shared the news during a special Star Wars Celebration panel. Amazingly, Filoni also revealed who will play Qui-Gon Jinn in the upcoming Star Wars show. "It's this guy you don't even know, Liam Neeson," he said and his revelation was met by cheers from the crowd. Filoni then added, "But it's not just him. I had his son play young Qui-Gon."

This is great news considering that Filoni has revealed Qui-Gon Jinn's story will be explored in the series. If there are two actors playing the character, this could mean we'll get to see Qui-Gon as a young boy before he became a Jedi Master. Needless to say, it's an exciting thing to look forward to soon.

But who is the second actor who will play Qui-Gon in Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi? Although it has not been revealed by Filoni, there is a possibility that Liam Neeson's son and Made in Italy co-star Micheál Richardson. In addition to that, we're hoping that Samuel L. Jackson will return as Mace Windu while Ashley Eckstein gets another chance to play Ahsoka.

For now, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is still in development and has not yet been given an official release date. However, we could learn more details in the next few months. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
