Kento Nanami Trends After Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Streaming Debut on Crunchyroll

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has finally been released on Crunchyroll and people are celebrating the anime film's digital debut all over social media. Interestingly, fans are putting their focus on one particular scene in the Jujutsu Kaisen prequel and are causing Kento Nanami to trend for the second time this week!

Crunchyroll finally released Jujutsu Kaisen 0 on Wednesday, marking the first time that the anime film has been made available digitally. Although most fans had already seen the movie in theaters, thousands still chose to stream it again to relive some of Yuta Okkotsu's best moments.

Interestingly, there's one other scene that still has people talking. In Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Kento Nanami takes down a gigantic curse during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons. Although he only appears for a few seconds, Nanami manages to use the Black Flash technique four times.

It's an intense sequence and one that does not originally appear in the manga. Needless to say, fans were loving Kento Nanami's amazing technique.

In Jujutsu Kaisen, Kento Nanami shared how he once managed to use Black Flash four times, making him the first record holder. However, Yuji Itadori broke that record when he and Aoi Todo fought Hanami during the Kyoto Sister-School Goodwill Event.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time that Kento Nanami trended this week. The character's name got several mentions after Chainsaw Man dropped its latest trailer introducing Captain Kishibe, who will be played by Kenjiro Tsuda. The voice actor also plays Nanami in Jujutsu Kaisen and Jujutsu Kaisen 0, and people simply couldn't stop making comparisons between the two characters.

Kento Nanami is set to return in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 next year. In the meantime, Kenjiro Tsuda will appear in Chainsaw Man, which premieres on October 12, 2022.
