Oshi no Ko being a big hit with real-life idols isn’t exactly a surprise considering that it’s an anime about idols and the entertainment industry.

While there are dark moments, many of the show’s elements are relatable for those working in entertainment.

Though Twice members being fans of Oshi no Ko elicited a surprised reaction from series illustrator Mengo Yokoyari, who tweeted about the group soon after seeing their dance cover.

What’s cool is that Yokoyari expressed years ago that she’s a big fan of Twice. So, it’s nice to see that her work is also being appreciated by her idols.

Oshi no Ko will continue with Episode 10, which will be released next week on HIDIVE in the US.
