The Oshi no Ko Manga Features Deception, Revenge, Hatred, and Violence!
Oshi no Ko is a drama and supernatural anime and manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari.
It tells the story of Ai Hoshino and her twin babies as they struggle to fit into the harsh and cruel entertainment industry.
The story unfolds with Ai Hoshino, a 16-year-old idol, on her journey to success.
She is a talented idol from the up-and-coming group B-Komachi who can hypnotize viewers with her impeccable dancing and singing ability.
Things turned in a different direction when Ai found out that she was pregnant with twins.
Quickly, Ai’s manager took action and pulled her out of the limelight temporarily to handle her situation privately.
They met up with a rural gynecologist named Gorou Amamiya and decided to let him protect Ai and her babies from the public’s eye.
What Ai didn’t know is that Gorou is such a huge fan of hers.
Days pass, and Ai is about to give birth when one of her ardent stalkers discovers her secret.
Gorou did the unthinkable and sacrificed himself to allow Ai to deliver her babies safely and peacefully.
In an unexpected turn of events, Gorou reincarnated into the body of Ai's newborn son, Aquamarine Hoshino.
He is a bright and gorgeous young man with an acting talent, similar to his twin sister, Ruby, who also enjoys dancing.
While Gorou reincarnated into Aquamarine, Sarina reincarnated into Ruby.
They were Ai's biggest fans in their previous lives, and they couldn't be happier living with their mother.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and Ai was stabbed in the stomach by the same person who previously stabbed Gorou.
The incident sent Aquamarine on the hunt for his father, whom he blamed for their mother's untimely death.
Aquamarine and Ruby are now grownups, attempting to forge their own careers in the entertainment world while keeping Ai's love alive in their hearts and minds.

Is the Oshi no Ko Manga Finished or Ongoing?
The Oshi no Ko manga is still ongoing and not yet finished at the time of writing.
The manga has been serialized since April 23, 2020, on Weekly Young Jump and has so far released 13 tankobon manga volumes with over 130 chapters.
The 13th manga volume was released on November 17, 2023, while the fifth English volume will be released on February 20, 2024, followed by the sixth volume on May 21, 2024.
In light of this, the Oshi no Ko manga has released nine story arcs, which are as follows:
- The Prologue Arc starts in Chapter 1: Mother & Children and ends in Chapter 10: Introduction
- The Entertainment World Arc starts in Chapter 11: Audition and ends in Chapter 20: Joining
- The Dating Reality Show Arc starts in Chapter 21: Reality Dating Show and ends in Chapter 32: Appropriate Age
- The First Concert Arc starts in Chapter 33: Motivation and ends in Chapter 40: Sore Loser
- The 2.5D Stage Play Arc starts in Chapter 41: Staff Meeting and ends in Chapter 66: The Curtain Falls
- The Private Arc starts in Chapter 67: Drinking Party and ends in Chapter 80: Wish
- The Main Story Arc starts in Chapter 81: Rapid Progress and ends in Chapter 100: Industry
- The Scandal Arc starts in Chapter 101: Predicament and ends in Chapter 108: Plan
- The Movie Arc starts in Chapter 109: Night and is still ongoing at present.
On the other hand, Doga Kobo’s anime adaptation of Oshi no Ko adapted four story arcs from the manga, namely the Prologue arc, the Entertainment World arc, the Dating Reality Show arc, and the First Concert arc.
The remaining story arcs are up for renewal, but given its initial success, we are seeing an optimistic future for the Oshi no Ko anime series.
The 90-minute premiere of the anime generated headlines, yet the events in the first episode barely scratched the surface.
