What Will the Oshi no Ko Anime Cover?
Oshi no Ko is a seinen anime based on Aka Akasaka's manga of the same name, which was also illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari.
It debuted in Weekly Young Jump on April 23, 2020, and has since produced 11 tankobon manga volumes.
Doga Kobo is in charge of the anime adaptation of Oshi no Ko, which will most likely focus on four story arcs from the manga for the first season: the Prologue Arc, the Entertainment World Arc, the Dating Reality Show Arc, and the First Concert Arc.
The Prologue Arc consists of 10 chapters, beginning with Chapter 1: Mother & Children and ending with Chapter 10: Introduction.
The Entertainment World Arc likewise has 10 chapters, beginning with Chapter 11: Audition and ending with Chapter 20: Joining.
The Dating Reality Show Arc has 12 chapters, beginning with Chapter 21: Reality Dating Show and ending with Chapter 32: Appropriate Age.
The First Concert Arc has eight chapters, beginning with Chapter 33: Motivation and ending with Chapter 40: Sore Loser.
The Prologue Arc focuses on the late idol, Ai Hoshino's hidden pregnancy and the birth of her twins.
The Entertainment World Arc focuses on Ai Hoshino's twins forging their own paths in the entertainment industry for various reasons.
The Dating Reality Show Arc focuses on Aqua Hoshino's endeavor in the reality dating show, where he will meet Akane Kurokawa, who will make his life more complicated.
The First Concert Arc focuses on the launch of Strawberry Production's newest idol group, B-Komachi.
In light of this, the first season illustrates how a plain gynecological doctor named Gorou Amamiya becomes an enormously important aspect of Ai Hoshino's life.
Most importantly, Oshi no Ko shows audiences both the positive and negative aspects of the entertainment industry.

How Many Episodes Will Oshi no Ko Have?
Oshi no Ko will have 11 episodes in total. It will run for a single cour, suggesting that it will last for a single season, like the majority of new anime titles that have been adapted.
This information was confirmed after Oshi no Ko announced the Blu-ray and DVD releases on its official website.
Oshi no Ko is available in six volumes, the first of which will be released on June 28, 2023.
All Oshi no Ko Blu-ray and DVD editions will come with a special case, booklet, leaflet, storyboard collection, audio commentary, behind-the-scenes footage, and much more.
We can presume that because Oshi no Ko will only have 11 episodes, the anime will be unable to adapt the manga's subsequent story arcs.
To see the rest of the plot arcs in motion, the anime must be renewed by Doga Kobo or another studio in the future.

When Do New Oshi no Ko Episodes Get Released?
New episodes of Oshi no Ko are released every Wednesday on HIDIVE for most regions, including the US, the UK, and Europe.
It has also been confirmed that Oshi no Ko will be dubbed in English, however, no exact release date has been announced yet.
Oshi no Ko will also be available on BiliBili Global, ANIPLUS, and even Ani-One Asia for Asian regions outside of Japan.
