It's official: Hunter x Hunter is returning with four more chapters, as confirmed by creator Yoshihiro Togashi. Not surprisingly, fans are overwhelmed by the news and started following Togashi on Twitter to get regular updates on the chapters. This has led to Togashi becoming the most followed mangaka on the platform in just three days!

On Tuesday, May 24, a mysterious new account claiming to be Yoshihiro Togashi announced that he is working on four new chapters for Hunter x Hunter. At first, people were wary of the account but immediately began following it after One-Punch Man artist Yusuke Murata confirmed it is the real Togashi.

We previously confirmed that Togashi is closing in on two million Twitter followers. Amazingly, the mangaka has already accomplished the feat and currently has 2,198,495 followers, making him the most followed manga creator on the social media platform. The title was previously held by My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi with 2,163,198 followers.

It's not a huge surprise that Yoshihiro Togashi has gained so many followers in just three days. People have been holding on to hope that Hunter x Hunter is far from over and the announcement was a welcome one. In addition to that, fans are hoping to get updates on Togashi himself who hasn't been in his best health these days. With that in mind, we'll be keeping up with Togashi's updates regularly (he has been sharing new tweets daily).

Hunter x Hunter isn't the only manga that is getting new chapters soon. Dr. Stone writer Riichiro Inagaki recently announced that his own manga is not over as the story is set to continue.

For now, there have been no updates on when the new Hunter x Hunter chapters will be released. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
