Considering the 4-year-long anticipation, fans are surely in for a treat this year and the waiting game is finally over. Although Togashi didn't reveal anything yet about the upcoming chapters, the creator might intend to conclude the series with the four chapters he is working on. The long hiatus is also due to the creator's tragic health condition, particularly the back pain that caused him to be bedridden, which are all detailed in the author's notes on the manga.
Hunter x Hunter follows Gon, a Hunter wanna-be in a world where licensed Hunters are tasked with rounding up monsters and criminals, going on treasure hunts, and investigating new lands and creatures.
For now, there's no release date for the new chapters of the manga yet while the anime adaptation is streaming on Crunchyroll.
